I have been a big orange fan all my life. Walking daily in the bluegrass state proudly wearing my orange and white. I have always been a bigger basketball fan than football naturally because I always played basketball, and am now a middle school basketball coach. Having said that I have always followed UT football and now attending about 4 games a year. I find myself this year being more excited about going to neyland stadium than ever in times past. I am only 20 years old so the last time the vol nation went through this I was too young to understand or even remember. Following the coaching search closely and now finally watching the pieces come together. It's almost like Christmas mourning every day watching a new present being revealed to the orange nation. I think we have a good idea or HCLK is going with our beloved program. I realize that his squad hasn't exacted their first drill, but at this point I couldn't be more excited about our staff, team, and direction we are going. How do you guys feel???

I could not have said it better myself. I'm 20 and have been a vol fan my whole life. I live in memphis and I love to walk around with my UT gear, especially after giving them one of their only 2 losses last year. But before the coach search I never checked VN, and now I cannot walk past my computer without checking for something. Go big or go home CLK! Bring back the honor that is Big Orange Football.

Welcome young VOLUNTEERS. If Kiffin can do what it appears is possible, you may get to witness some great games for us in the near future. Fulmer was great the first 6-7 years, so I'm hoping CLK starts out HOT quickly also.

I am old enough to remember, and there are similarities. Back then, there was a feeling in the air that even though Majors was fairly successful, his time had passed. Then, just as now, I had mixed emotions about cutting ties to a true Vol legend. It eventually proved to be the right move then, and hopefully this time around will be the same.:peace2:

I'll feel much better when we get the full academic report of returning players. There is lots of chatter about player losses right now.

I feel ke crap. VANDY won a bowl game and UT is sitting at home watching on TV. That is all that needs to be said. Congrats to Vandy though. NICE JOB!

This is as excited as I have been since Majors replaced Battle and/or Peyton announced he was coming to the VOLS...it is a toss up. GO VOLS regain the swagger!
