how do you feel about the fl kickoff time?

Bah, CBS is the worst. Their TV timeouts are the longest, and they will call for another even when there is a minute left and the score is 41-14...

I couldn't feel my feet at the end of the 07 Kentucky game. The 4 OTs combined with CBS's long and often commercial strategy made an already long, cold game even worse.

Since UF and UT started playing each other every year, UF has a losing record in night games at Neyland (2-3) and a winning record during the day (5-1).

I miss this game being CBS's marquee matchup to begin the season....although I won't miss Verne Lundquist butchering the names of our players.

Plus, we wont get to hear VL make love to Tebow through the microphone

Win!! Win!!

If they allowed guns at football games...the offical with the little red hat would have been killed about 1,000 times in the last ten years.

Eastern Standard is just Central's *****. Everyone knows it. We're still sleeping when you're starting your work day, and when you lay down at night, we're still going strong!

:eek:lol: Great post. I used to live in Shelbyville. So glad I got away from there. No offense if you like it, it was just too ass backwards for me.

The best UT/UF games the past 15 years outside of maybe the 03 game have been played with lights on.

The 01 game in florida to go to #2 in the BCS? Plus the 04 game. the game where justin harrel played hurt was a close game too altough we lost. I don't know what you are talking about there have always been good night games.

I miss this game being called by Sean McDonough.

Running out of ideas for threads when a round table discussion is required about a game time

His verbal fellating of Timothy Richard Jesus Tebow was of a bigger concern to me.

+1,000

I mentioned this earlier. If memory serves me correctly was he not on the microphone for many of the 98 games such as UF and Ark?

Yep. Great games and I always thought his enthusiasm was executed appropriately.

where to start

Harrell being hurt was the 2006 game, not the 2004. 2004 UT won, 2006 they lost.

2001 - while the lights did come on near the end, that's not being argued - was again a 3:30 start time game. Because it was so late in November that year due to 9/11, it got dark earlier.

And it was still hotter than hell for that game, even with the December kickoff. It was well worth it to be there for Stevie's last home game/loss.
