Have my surround sounds blasting, while I watch the games on my 50" t.v. Have my Tenn. vols flag outside the house on game day. Just cheers ever times they scores touchdown or made the field goals, and when something go right for the vols, and get mads when other teams scores or whatever bad happen in the ballgames. I've been a Vol fan..........4evr! On game day, if it's close to a noon kickoff. I always eat about an hour before game time. After kickoff, I can't put anything in my stomach except liquids. My stomach is so nervous that I'd get sick if I tried to eat. After the game, win or loose, I pig out!!! Oh yeah, I turn the volume down on the TV and listen to the radio broadcast.

Start the morning by grabbing breakfast and doing a quick run through the grocery store for game food (chips, hotwings, pizza, and grilling food) & beer. Get back home in time to set up my other 2 TV's to the right and left of the 50" flat screen on the wall and catch the start of College GameDay. Crack open the first beer of the day and start marinating the meat I'm going to grill. Once the games start, Tennessee is always on the bigscreen (of course) and the other two main games on the side TVs, with my laptop open, tracking the scores of all the games I bet on. Then I try not to move from the couch for anything other than another beer and more chips and food.

Oh yea, and blare Rocky Top as loud as I can from my surround sound everytime Tennessee scores. Man I'm fired up for some football, Saturday can't get her fast enough.

I stopped doing that after Jon Ward retired.

I loved doing that when I lived in Knoxville, but since I moved to Charlotte I have to stream it from the internet and it's delayed so it doesn't work.

When playing Florida I answer no calls and allow no visitors.

Home games= An early morning trip to Knoxville with the wife. Walk around for awhile. Head over to the Vol walk and then go grab some food (usually moe's). I then head over to the stadium and find my seat. Always go home without a voice, except last year. There was not to much to cheer about.
Away games= If i don't go, then I get up around 10, watch some college gameday, Get some food ( usually snack all day) and then watch the game with the wife.

Old habits are hard to break I guess. I had a "man crush" on John Ward as well, and it's not the same without him. I still get a better insight to the game than listening to the very (usually) biased TV announcers. I get Pi$$ed at them sometimes and decided to listen to a bad Kessling rather than bad, biased broadcasters. Just my opinion here.

Wake up around 9:45, watch College Gameday. Call the friends to see where we will be watching the game out. Pick up some pizza, chips, & drinks on the way to wherever we will be watching the game. & for the rest of the day cheer like crazy for my Vols & watch all the other good games that are on that day. My days arent to exciting when im not going to the game.

I like to watch the game alone. Since moving to Denver, I will be in my recliner with my laptop - or I am going to hook it up to the 60-inch (not sure how it will look though).

I will be getting up super early to watch GameDay as it starts at 8 a.m. here then as it gets closer to game time I will kick the wife and kid out so I can concentrate. No calls, no friends, just UT football for 4 hours. It doesn't get any better.

Day Day, Dont you mean on home games you always run into your best, lifelong, favorite friend on the strip as he is going crazy as he is Fired Up, Focused and Prepared?

On away games dont you mean while traveling we bump out to some Lil' Jon and then you head to Five Guys Burgers and Fries then go into the stadium and sit with with your buddy while he goes off on UGA fans that are wearing those dumb red team pants with UGA's face on them while he is screaming in your ear and almost getting in fights with those BDB's...

I lol'd at this.....don't know why :p

I like to watch alone too. My husband doesn't really care too much for football so he's usually outside or somewhere doing other things. I think he gets tired of hearing me scream and holler....our dog doesn't like it either, ..he always goes and hides somewhere.
I take no calls or accept any visitors either...:nono:

oh, and I always have my cheese dip and nachos ready and only take bathroom breaks during commercials.

I'm on the west coast... So I'll be getting up at 7 am to watch Gameday (why do I even bother...)

Because it's so early, and I'm too lazy I'll just eat peanuts or maybe put some wings in the oven; something simple for the game. Even though the game starts at 9:21 for me (weird start time) I'll probably pop a few cold ones.

After the game, I'll rest up abit. I'm going to go to the UW v. LSU game that night, and I expect some pretty good tailgating.

Because it's an early game, I'll have to cook a 6-7lb. pork shoulder the night before. While that's cookin I'll make the bean dip so it can chill overnight. Sausage Balls(Tennessee Pride,Hot of course) will go in the oven about 11AM on game day and I'll make Carolina Sauce then too. The cooler should be well stocked and iced friday night. The flat screen gets moved outside, umbrellas up, Vol flags up, radio in the bathroom. About 11:30 I'll swing by my new neighbors invite them and apologize in advance for any slip of the lip i may make. I'll anxiously await..."It's Football Time in Tennesseeeeeeeeeee!"

I watch on an invention called the TV. Grab my ice cold beer from the fridge and watch away. Although this Saturday may include a visit to BWW's.

I normally just watch it on my tv at home, from 1030 college gameday until past 1am or whatever time the last game on tv ends...haha

I usually sit down and turn on the TV. I do print off a numerical roster in order to be able to ID players. That's it.

Most of your menu sounds great, Vol brother, but if you're able to cook that pork shoulder "the night before", you're not doing it justice. Low and slooowww..... apply hickory smoke liberally.... :eek:k:

Maybe you meant you start it the night before, but then you'd better be rubbing it tonight... Rub butts tonight, smoke butts tomorrow, pull butts on Saturday....
