How do you act during a Tenn football game?

In the stadium - I actually just kind of chill out and watch the game. Not vocal or anything like that.

At home watching on TV - still quiet but I get into superstitious type routines. Like switching chairs or something of that nature if things are not going like I want them.

He likes football ok but he's not a fanatic like I am.....he's happier if he's outside fooling with a lawnmower or visiting with our neighbor friends or his brothers, all of who could care less about football really...
...I am the sports fan in the family.:p ...hubby would rather watch car shows or old western movies...

Sorry to hear that. Keep up the good fight.:hi:

Ha Ha Ha!

I know what you mean. I get fired up during the pregame stuff. Vol Walk, The Salute, Pregame Show, and the "T". After that mellow out a little, and intently watch. My volume seems to go up as the game goes on tho.

At home, I am normally arguing with brother, as to what we are doing wrong.

lol, doesn't bother me if he doesn't want to watch.
All I ask of him is to not bother me while I'm watching.

He once had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to go shopping or out to eat while a game was on and I looked at him like he was !

The LSU game a few years back on a Monday night, I think I covered every seating arrangement in my house. LOL.

Wish I could've found a gal like you before I got married. My wife couldn't care less about football.:cray:

I guess it's true what they say about how opposites attract :p....my first hubby didn't like sports that much either.

I grew up loving most all sports really...I think I watch most all of them except hockey or tennis.

I'm aggravated right now because I'm not getting to watch the Braves because of a rain delay...

I am usually calm at games or watching them on TV, but one game comes to mind where I lost it. 05 Bama when Foster fumbled for the touchback. Kicked the foot stool about four feet into the wall. Thats not my style, but what can I say, it was bama. Little did I know how the rest of that awful season would unfold.

I'm not exactly sure how it happened (and I wasn't drinking), but I came home after the Gaffney "No Catch" with a cracked rib. I'm told I "really" get excitable during games.

I call it passionate.

took mine to the UT/USCjr overtime game for her first visit to Neyland. The game ended and she looked at me and said "This is the most stressed out I've ever been!" She had really never watched much football before that and is now hooked

My father in law took my wife to Memphis State games as a kid. She's been to the Grove and Vaught Hemingway Stadium with me to watch Tennessee play Ole Miss. She still is ambivalent and mostly uninterested. Thus the sobbing smiley.

It's funny how all of you guys say how you sit in every chair possible when watching on TV. I can not do that. I can't sit when the Vols are playing, I just stand up and pace for 4 hours. I get that into it.

When I'm in Knoxville I am the one who screams like a drunk during the Vol Walk, Salute to the Hill, ect. I swear most of our fan base is WAY TOO mellow on Game Days. Why isn't the campus absolutely rocking and on steriods on gameday? I never understood that.

I also go to church on Sundays with no voice.

if we are winning you will have a good time with me. if not, you will be scared for your life...

Pretty much sums up my moods as well. When I'm watching the games at home, my wife and son vacate the house until it's over. At the games, home or away, I'm drunk, loud, and obnoxious--AND that's before kickoff!

I can really get into it at games, yelling, booing, singing Rocky Top, etc. But at home I don't really go to crazy except for when a big play happens. I'm celebrating and thanking God for that big play.

I get pretty bad. I hit the coffee table with my fist REALLY HARD...surprised I haven't broken my hand yet from that. I have broken a remote before though. Ever since then, I always hold a hand towel during the games and slam it on the carpet, so as not to break anything. Lately, I haven't been watching sports though for my health...lol.

I'll definitely watch UT sports this year though. My goal is to not slam anything next year during football season.:eek:lol:I really want to gain some self control.

The dogs used to get pretty scared from all the screaming. I've been pretty quite and disgusted lately.
