How do you act during a Tenn football game?

'nuff said

Take that down before Florida or Bama gets a hold of it.

When we blocked the punt and returned it for TD against Notre Dame before the half in 91', I jumped up in the air and completely knocked a light off of my parents living room ceiling fan. I'll never forget the cussing my dad gave me... he had already given up on the vols in that game and was in the kitchen eating. It must have sounded pretty bad from where he was at.....

Watching on TV---it depends on the amount of Jack Daniels I've consumed. I broke two remotes last year.

I yell a lot during the games....Stuff Like "Ball" when a fumble hits the ground....Or What the "F" was that when our QB puts one in the stands or on the ground. I cuss the worst at the Officials when watching the game..."They seem to miss everything".....
I stop asking people to watch the games with me because they all look at me wierd after the game like they did not know I was a die hard fan.....Oh Well...I love it!
I tell my Neighbors before every game..."Sorry if I get to loud, if we are winning I am calm and collective".....Losing and it is not a pretty sight.

I am moving houses right now and I have replaced 2 doors and a mirror because of Alabama and Florida.

And I also Coach the games from home like I got a headset on!
At the games or in the bar I don't get to crazy....Just at home behind the big screen!

My most extreme moment was when we won the TN/UK overtime game 2 years ago, I ran out the door and up and down the street yelling :) Im normally the guy that if we lose it ruins my weekend.

At the stadium im usually just yelling when everyone else is, but at the KY game last year I was above the UK section and there were around 10 of them that would not stop yelling "Which bowl game are you Vols going to!?!?" Which caused me to give them absolute hell after the game (actually in the 4th Q becuase they left early):)

I can tell you how I act when the Gators play UT lately, which is to say I make a tee time for midway through the second quarter, when I know the outcome will be obvious and I can get back to waiting until next year for a challenge.

Sad to say I am a screamer
I haven't had a good quote out of context lately.

As to your question, I scream and get excited but my kids have led me to temper my language.

As I get older and busier, I don't let a win or loss make or ruin my weekend as much.

This.

05 LSU, and 07 UK were pretty epic for games not attended. I was on campus for the UK game, at my apt. I screamed violently, ran out the door, screamed some more, woke up some of the hobos down by the railroad tracks, and informed all birds, squirrels, and general wildlife that we were going to the SEC championship game.

But if I'm surrounded by friends, we're boozing, and cussing at the tv because the tv should have relayed information differently.

The last couple of years I guess I've sort of got accustomed to losing, sad to say, but I still did a lot of yelling and screaming. At the games I try to not be as bad as I am at home. We don't set in a very rowdy section so I try to keep it a little bit calmer. Hopefully this year I'll be doing more yelling and screaming because we're winning!

I think we all had minor heart attacks during the 07 UK game. That was the most nerve-racking, satisfying, irratitating, comfortable, uneasy, heartbreaking, 5 hour long game I have ever witnessed!

I reach another level of concentration and focus on Saturdays in the fall. The rest of the week depends on what happens in the game to me. I'm usually nervous and screaming my lungs out when UT is on. I'll say this, there is nothing better than beating Alabama or Florida and going out that night to celebrate. Go Vols!

The 07 UK game was a game for the ages. Possibly one of the best college football games of all time. I was up and down throughout the whole second half and overtime. My son was upset because I was yelling at the TV so much. I explained to him it was for a good reason.:superman:

Screaming in a good way if we're winning
Screaming in a bad way if we're choking in a close game
Sulking if we're getting blown out.

That is me to the T!

I get hyped on big plays..

Pissed during stupid plays..

And I silently cry inside if we lose.. usually just sit there and stare at the tv..

Inside my head and telling myself... next year.. next year..

Usually I start relatively calm on the couch. That lasts for a good 5-10 minutes into the 1st qtr. Then the next three quarters are filled with cheers, beers, and jeers.

I always argue with the TV, but sometimes I plead with it too. Then sometime in the fourth, I end up inches from the screen trying to affect the outcome of the game with my mind!

When I'm at the game, which has been far too rare, I usually scream until I can't talk the next day.
