How do we look at receiver next year?

One of those 2 drives in 2nd half was over 20 plays and about 11 minutes long. Y ou really think that is good, or even, kinda good play on D? Get real.
It was good that they made them run clock. But the D MUST get better at getting off the field. A lot of ideas around here and many of them good about why UT couldn't do that. Regardless... they have to get better. TFL's PERFECT. Run D vs RB's very good. But when plays broke down even mediocre running QB's hurt UT. Pass D needs to get much better too.

With the time they had and the players/depth they had to work with... I'm not down on them. But the O scored more than enough points to win vs everyone except UF and UGA. The D has to step up big time.

Losing Velus and Javonta was tough, it will be killer if Tillman goes. We will be talented but inexperienced and no returning leader at this point.
That's true... but UT didn't really have a returning leader coming into this season either. Jones had 280 yds in 20. Tillman had 67.

Outside Receivers
1) Tillman
2) Keyton
3) (A) Coby, (B) Miller , (C) Webb

Slot
1) Hyatt
2) Calloway/ Merril
3) Squirrel
That looks like a pretty decent lineup. I think Webb will be ahead of Miller and possibly Coby. I think Keyton will have a breakout year like Payton had. If Hyatt puts it all together, he could be dangerous. Hopefully he at least gets to the level of quality sec starter this year.

I agree. I think the only thing that kept Keyton from more minutes earlier this season was his physicality when blocking, particularly on the perimeter with our quick WR screen game. I think Keyton could be a similar deep threat that Payton was, but he'd gonna have to hit the weight room a bit this off-season to sustain those blocks in the manner in which JP was able to...
