How did we lose to Ole Miss?

the defense was completely depleted. also the arrests served as a distraction somewhat regardless of what anyones says IMO. i know kiffin has said he didn't think the team lost focus but i find it hard to believe it didn't affect them a little

It's rivalry week. Scotty Spurior just went in the game for SC. The home teams are trashing the visitors so far this weekend. SC bombs Clemson, Miss State pounding Ole Miss. We better bring our A game tonight against Ky.
All the home teams are very, very pumped today.

MSU manned up against Ole Miss that is for sure, but then again, this game was their bowl game.

Houston Nutt is dangerous when expectations are low (vs. UT) but terrible when he's expected to roll (vs. MSU).

Ole Miss punted twice the whole game. Snead threw 3 ints. One for a TD direct. That was the difference in the game. Ole Miss shot themselves. Do they still go to Capital One if LSU wins?

I don't think so, I think an LSU win would flip 'em.

Ole Miss showed an emotional hangover from the LSU game. MSU was playing their bowl game.

Just another reminder that the elite teams that have the Quality, Speed, and Depth can survive the letdowns, distractions, and injuries.

Everyone one else is suspect to the 'what the heck just happened game(s)?'

I think our defense is struggling. Kind of worries me about a bowl game. Its very difficult to put in 2nd and 3rd stringers and compete. If you are a great team you might get by with a few injuries but not UT (we just don't have that kind of depth). That's my opinion anyway.

Ole Miss coming off a big win, rivalry game on the road, and MSU has nothing to lose in the game.
