the Players.

It would be easy to say MOST of UT Fan Base is jumping off Band Wagon. But CBJ is very close to losing the players.

How many times can you attempt to GET them up only to have you and your staff put them in a position to lose!!

I guess in the end we Didn't listen.
Everyone said 2016 was the year......Yep once again we are going to be asked to wait until next year....:banghead2:

I think we've seen signs he has already lost some. Butch needs to swallow his pride and acknowledge his responsibility for this loss, without anymore of the weasel words and excuses. The players, like the fans, will be watching what he says and does after this. If he trots out more excuses, you will start to see players giving up on the field. See Dooley's loss to UK for an example of what that looks like.

IDK about all this....but I ask myself

Why can't we win a game we're not supposed to win under CBJ? UK beat Mizz (#25) last night. Utah (#18) stomped the daylights out of Oregon (#12). Last week Ole Miss beat Alabama (#2).

Why does it seem that these come from behind miracles we see so many other teams perform are always lost on UT? Why do these miracles happen "to" us instead of "for" us? Can you imagine UT being 4th and 14, trying to convert and end up throwing a TD for a 1 point victory??? Not in this lifetime or the one to come.

The Butch hatred is magnified on a site like this. Your average fan is disappointed in the loss but they aren't coming here to this forum and arming themselves with pitchforks like quite a few are. The players are probably far more resilient than the fans are.

None of us know how the players feel, but it seems logical that the boosters that give tons of money to UT, must be very upset.

As a fan base we were all set to celebrate a winning season, but our leader does not know how to lead.

Not sure its all the coaches fault...our Defense missed a ton of tackles on short passes and the winning TD by Florida was a nightmare by the DBs. Once they look at the game film the OL and Defense will see that they were actually the ones who broke down and let Florida take the win away.

Anyway...Medley almost made the winning FG.:eek:hmy:

It hasn't always been that way. It started with the curse of firing Fulmer and continues through a series of piss poor coaching choices by an administration that doesn't care.

You'd like to think it's just on this site. There are already articles writtten blasting "Choke" Jones for his late game choke jobs just look around. ESPN was clowning him. The "average" fan maybe doesn't care enough. That's true...

Jones is going anywhere. We're not paying another buyout. But I do think there will be 1 maybe 2 assistant coaches gone after the year.

I think the answer to your question is slapping you in the face and you are ignoring it. Listen to what everyone is telling you when they say its in game coaching and decisions.

Nice try. Go ahead and google Butch Jones. This is the FIRST link that shows up.

Tennessee's Butch Jones should coach with common sense, not off a card

NOT just knee jerk fans calling him out for being the idiot that he is. You want to think that it's some small section of a knee jerk fan base...but it isn't. Sorry.

Most of the fan base has battered Vol Syndrome, the rest are just gullible. Would follow coach choke right off a bridge.

We all heard the ultimate projections of a possible 10-2 season and SEC East title. With the outcome of the Oklahoma and Florida game after leading margins, the real question now is whether Tennessee can win enough of the remaining 8 games to even qualify for a bowl bid. Of the 8 games left the North Texas game is probably the ONLY definite possibility of a win.

Are we headed for another 5 - 7 season? Even Vanderbilt looked very good at times against Ole Miss and the Kentucky team proved itself yesterday. So maybe Missouri and North Texas are two possible wins. That would make 4. Where will we get 2 or 3 more wins to finish 6-6 or 7-5...it sure does not look good unless some improvement comes with a win of the Arkansas game.:hi:

Yep, three freshman Oline whipped our Dline. Not good. We need a new Oline coach and WR coach for sure.

Yep. Coaching is bad for sure. Butch better learn how to coach soon.

Can't continue to not take questions in the postgame press conference and then send your unpaid amateur athletes out there to answer to the media. He has to be more of a man than that.

It started with Fulmer, I remember several times where Fulmer was dominated by a lesser foe.Do you remember Steve Tanneyhill? (just 1 for example)

Do we need to seriously look at both the Offensive and Defensive line coaches? Our line players are not getting the job done. Making blocks and tackles are the major part of the job of the coach to get the job done. The one bright spot of coaching is the personal job of Coach Jones in handling Special Teams.:eek:lol:

Yeah right, that winning TD on 4th and 14 was only a nightmare by the DBs and had nothing to do with us only rushing 3 at the QB and playing prevent D. That's on the coaches.
