It's not even July yet. Looking forward to Tennessee football is just one more thing to get depressed about.

I may be drunk, but seems pretty simple. Defense holds em' offense outscores em'. Sorry shot in the dark on this.

Blow them up on both lines.

If not, lamichael James will be doing his best desean Jackson c. 07 impression.

I'll tell you what it will take for Tennessee to win. You guys will have to be absolutely mistake free. Your new O-line can't commit false starts and hold. They can't blow assignments. Alitotti's defense features a complex defensive line scheme that likes to
mix it up and go at offensive lines in a variety of unconventional ways. If they do, UT's quarterback (whether it be Simms or Bray) will get flustered and not put you guys in an opportunity to score points. That will allow us to stack up in the box and force Poole to try and run the ball. Also, the defense is going to have to try to decode our schemes. Simple as that. Teams like Ohio State that DID figure them out to an extent had success stopping us. Teams that didn't a la USC, Cal, UW, etc. had a terrible time all day. The last thing that would help the Vols out will be a sweltering, humid evening in Knoxville. That's all I've got.

That's in order to cover up the lack of size/strength on the d-line.

Tennessee's offense WILL score on Oregon's D if the play-calling and players are on point.

Complex defensive line scheme. You can't make this stuff up.
