We are 4 games into year 5. I tried to be positive after the Tech game but everything I've seen since then has been extremely disturbing. Butch has an entire roster of his guys, classes that have averaged 13, with a couple of top 10 classes. It's his culture in the locker room, his assistant coaching hires, and his lack of talent development and gamemanagement mistakes that persist. The East is dreadful, and the best we can put on the field is a 17-13 squeaker over an 0-4 UMass. Looking at the schedule ahead, how can anyone have hope that this is going to get turned around?

Spot on man, it's gonna be a rough year, but hopefully there's a light at the end of yhe tunnel and maybe a new coach cause this group, outside of Gillespie, isn't getting it done

How can you not untill the games are played? It's all speculation on both sides untill that happens.

A blowout loss against the Dawgs and a change would have to be made during the bye week, right?

Look around; we have people playing the players, blaming the fans, blaming this messageboard.....some will probably never blame Jones.

You forget that UMass is the best 0 and 5 team in the nation. They are a fabulous team who have been unlucky. Took all we had to beat them.

Getting the impression you're down on the Butcher. :)

If I were a betting man, Id put my money on a firing happening after the LSU game, if we're 0-4 in the SEC at that point then there is no justification for keeping him around

Are you really that blind? Serious question.

Why ask a dmbazz question. You and me both know he will not get fired during the season.

You think he's going 5-7. I think he's going 8-4. Untill the games are played who is right and who is wrong? Neither of us has no fkin clue.

Not out of respect for what Butch took on. You have to wait later in season regardless. Not at 3-2. I'm not able to defend what Butch is doing but this isn't exactly the Dooley scenario where teams lost on purpose.
