How bad is that Kentucky Loss now?

I just cannot see losing to the Razorbacks this year. Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt they can consistently be better than us with Pittman versus Pruitt, but they were completely void of talent and coaching under Morris. Our talent alone should win that game this year.

I don’t think most of us sane folk ever thought Kentucky was good.

We simply understand where Tennessee is.....and how bad Pruitt is.

Any loss in football to UK is bad....really bad...like if you can't beat them then everyone should be fired bad..

The other 2 coaches that lost to them in my lifetime didn't last too long on the job after losing to them, so there's that.

As long as our "talent" is standing next to Pruitt on the sidelines, it's more coaching than you think. In that regard, Arky has an advantage...a big advantage. I like both their coordinators vs ours. Give that staff our roster and I suspect we'd be a much, much better team.

The KY loss was one of those “if it can go wrong it will” games. The team quit at halftime....that was the most disturbing thing to me.
I just don't think this team was prepared for that Kentucky game. The one thing I can't seem to shake is that I've seen this staff do that multiple times in the past two years. That really bothers me.

It is a trap game just like Alabama was after coming off a win against Georgia. We are just so terrible we could not take advantage

If JG had played as well against KY as he did Bama today I think we would have won that game. Not that JG was lights out today, but he was serviceable today.

Have you watched them play? They play hard as hell and they've got some players too, Bumper Poole and that RB (Hill, I think).

At some point "talent" is how you play, who cares about potential if it never materializes, a 3 star maxing his out is better than a 5 star who is underdeveloped.

Unfortunately, because JG was serviceable and not a complete train wreck, Pruitt will probably continue to stick with him. I hope I’m wrong on this. The chance of having a winning season pretty much went down the drain with the Kentucky loss. As awful as it sounds, it’s time to play for next year and put in some young guys so they can be better next year.

I had a feeling Mizzou would beat Kentucky. They have improved and they have a good QB. It’s a good thing we already played Mizzou. It’s puzzling how we were better that game and now we look horrible. The TN team that beat Mizz beats Ky.
