This is my first thread on the new forum. For me, I bought some new hats. First piece of Tennessee merch I've purchased in 5 years. So what are guys and gals doing to get ready for the upcoming season? Did you buy new gear? Buy a grill? First time season tickets? Even if it's nothing new, what are you doing?

I sit and watch the seconds on the clock tick away. Get up the next day and repeat.

You must have not worn that since 98’
lol.... I actually have that one too it just finally became too raggedy to wear anymore . All our honeymoon pics from 15 years ago I am still rocking it. The new lucky one was @ UGA game in 15 & UF in 16 so I thought for a minute it was lucky. It was also @ UGA game last year along with a whole bunch of other crap games . Maybe I should switch to ball caps . Although I’m a visor guy from way back 😃

got Tix to the first game, no new swag per se, Ill wait on that, plenty of Orange in the house, in the dresser, on the car, in the office and on the beach (if ur ever at Fort Lauderdale beach im the guy with the black beach umbrella with the Orange Power T, never seen another one out there)

I was down your way last week, catching lobsters to grill on game days. Not for the season opener, I just got my tickets for the belk classic.

The new house will have a cheggerboard painted wall, picture of Neyland stadium and other UT gear. I also plan on getting a hat or two here soon.

Just like Coach Pruitt...focused on winning every game and STILL talking trash to every other fan in the SEC!

Bought it at a yard sale and it came with an orange and black jersey painted on it. Spent 3x as much on spray paint as I paid for the statue.

Not really getting prepared for this season. I am growing weary of us losing and being below the U.T. standard since 2005. Not getting too excited. No expectations of a bowl game or of the SECCG. I am interested in watching games on t.v. to get a gauge of the young guys who are going to be on our future teams.
How good are the young guys?

The same for me. The first time 7 years that I haven't had to work weekends. And I'm talking 6:00 am - 6:30 pm both Saturday & Sunday. That just absolutely ruins your football life.
Dang that would suck so bad. I always work on Saturdays and Sundays but I can't get off at 3 if I need to so I don't miss too much

Trying to reduce my alcohol consumption. So my liver we'll be prepared for the ungodly amount I'll be forced to ingest to cope with this season if things go south as they are wont to do
