How are you getting ready for the new season?

Every year before the first game I always read up on and watch the games of our first opponent. I'm watching WVU and OSU right now.

I'll probably watch the Vols' spring game for the 10th time after this.

Have you discovered anything that has been overlooked by our fans? Iā€™m hoping youā€™ve seen steroid injections on the sidelines.

I will do that Boca Vol but I can give you an update now because I had the privilege of seeing and using it at a school I subbed at. But will again once I have one in my house. BTW, I edited my original post as I meant to say I'll get $300 less than elsewhere. Lowest price I was seeing was $668 - $745. But Walmart sells it less than that. Also after a rather negative purchase elsewhere (Thankful they shipped via Walmart so return was easy), I won't order from via WWW as returning such a large item is very problematic.

What I liked: Mostly metal backing. Easy to access hookups. Nice vivid picture. It has 3 HDMI Ports , and an Ethernet port (which I might not use for security reasons). Mostly, the picture quality won me over.

What I might not like: To be fair, I'm not sure yet. There's been talk of it being Internet-accessible to hackers even with the TV (and other brands) supposedly off, spyware that tracks your app usage, viewing habits, reporting back on stuff that shouldn't be anyone's business but yours, TV turning itself on etc. But in the time I was at the school during slow night shifts and students being at off-campus events, I don't believe I experienced any of these things. However, other staff and some students claimed this happened. I'm an I'll believe when it I see it guy so...

I killed off a bottle of Gentleman Jack last Saturday night and watched old game footage/Pride of the Southland performances on Youtube till the wee hours of Sunday morning. Beyond that, I have my eye on some new gear but haven't pulled the trigger on the purchase yet.

I canā€™t help but wonder how things would be different if we did in fact land chucky. How much different The feel would be around here. The hype would be much higher, but I think things are setting up just about perfectly for this next rebuild.

I'm happy about Coach Pruitt but i wonder how things would have been right now if Tennessee would have hired Mike Leach;)

got Tix to the first game, no new swag per se, Ill wait on that, plenty of Orange in the house, in the dresser, on the car, in the office and on the beach (if ur ever at Fort Lauderdale beach im the guy with the black beach umbrella with the Orange Power T, never seen another one out there)
