I know McClendon is for real at right-G.
I know Scott is a stonewall at left-Ot.

They are both great; though they are not side-by-side on the same side of the UT OLine. I also saw lottsa Zone-Blocking outta Coach Cregg.

So tell me if I've got this right:

a. UT runs from C-Gap to C-Gap and does not use Hardesty outside a whole lot.

b. I was unable to determine if UT favored the left or middle or right side in an overt way. Does UT just mix it up pretty evenly?

And where (left, middle or right) would UT go for that 1-2 real tough yards?

c. Hardesty's rebuilt knee is good-to-go?

d. Your C and left-G do not look all that physical to me. Can they be bull-rushed on a 0-technique vs. the Center and a 2-technique vs. the left-G and therefore driven backwards off :question:the LOS?

b. I was unable to determine if UT favored the left or middle or right side in an overt way. Does UT just mix it up pretty evenly? A. Pretty much mixes it up, but if there is a lean...I would guess left.
And where (left, middle or right) would UT go for that 1-2 real tough yards? A. See above

c. Hardesty's rebuilt knee is good-to-go? A. Seems to not be exactly 100%...but doesn't matter, he's going to give it 110% anyway.

d. Your C and left-G do not look all that physical to me. Can they be bull-rushed on a 0-technique vs. the Center and a 2-technique vs. the left-G and therefore driven backwards off :question:the LOS? A. Hasn't happen to any degree yet....

Aaron Douglas is @ a great tackle and only a freshman. Our center is a walkon and his brother is the other o-lineman you identified as a weak link. In their defense they have done a great job against some really tuff defenses in Alabama and Florida. As far as running the ball a big part of our success still hinges on Cromptons ability to keep other teams honest with play action and the general passing game. Hardesty is a 1000+ yard back with a number of touchdown runs. His knee is fine.

Virg' has been in and out all year. So the back-up (Whitley or Hosley) has had some nice gametime this year. Both might even be better than Virg' long term. Though the experience gap is wide indeed. Don't like the younger guys vs. so much play-action passing. The body is willing for both. Though I could see them biting on play-action or pump-fakes.

Not a huge departure.
Though a significant one.

d. Has been a surprise this year. They are tiny compared to what UT usually has on the Oline but they have performed well (with a few exceptions). They are not dominant players but they have heart. Ole Miss whipped our Oline pretty good but Florida and Alabama couldn't do much with them (with 2 notable exceptions which I will not go into). As far as Hardesty is concerned, I would say between the tackles. Hardesty is very hard to bring down and 1-2 yards is doable for him (even if he has to do it all by himself).

UT runs sweeps once in awhile but not that often. IMHO, the RB's are capable but the OL's aren't quick enough to get on the corner. Douglas is but he's still developing.

UT hasn't shown any real tendencies right vs left since the UCLA game. They're probably a little more successful to the left when starting left vs right when starting right. However the left side including Sullins blocks very well back side... creating cut back lanes. The Sullins bros generally have played much bigger than their size. Both are tough and smart.

If Hardesty's knee isn't 100%... you couldn't prove it watching him cut. The cut he made against UK for the win is good as anyone can do it. His acceleration off of cuts is top shelf.
