We all know that this is the worst time to try and get a new coach that is currently a head coach. Since our recruiting class has already been damaged, maybe we should just keep Kippy as the interim coach until after signing day, then make a move for a bigger name?

I have heard they might wait until Monday, Jason Garrett (Offensive Coordinator) of the Cowboys could potentially be offered the position depending on the outcome of the Vikings/Cowboys game on Sunday. Wouldn't be a bad hire IMO.

They could just sit out 2010 and really take their time crafting the perfect offer for the perfect candidate.

I understand it will set us back both this year and next in recruiting, but I don't want to be stuck with a hasty hire for 3-5 years because we were in such a rush. It's clear right now that we're not going to get the top tier candidates that a school like Tennessee should be able to attract. Let's sit back, take our time, and get our guy
