We Squeaked in 3 teams and all of a sudden we have 3 teams in the sweet 16.

Do you think the NCAA F'd up?

it is nice to see.

i don't know if the f'd up - one has to remember it's not the best 64 teams due to every conference champion coming in.

lot of anti-SEC basketball bias out there, outside of Kentucky, and a lot of ACC, Big 10, Big East, etc. bias. i think they can hardly stomach the idea of the SEC dominating so regularly in football and then in basketball too. heh heh heh.

I like watching things shake out and then am satisfied knowing the other guy knows he's not as grand as he thinks he is.

What did any SEC teams do outside the three who made the tourney?

Georgia finished 3rd and lost OOC to every team that had a pulse.

Arkansas beat SMU and no one else OOC, then had a good shot to be the 4th SEC team and lost back to back games to terrible South Carolina and Alabama teams.

Missouri beat UCLA, no one else of note OOC and when they had the chance to play their way in late they lost to us 72-45 and Florida 72-49. Them already being knocked out of the NIT doesn't really bolster their argument.

The fact is, the three SEC teams that are in the sweet 16 are loaded. It's just that us and Kentucky underperformed quite badly in the regular season vs our talent level.

Why is KY and UT both in the Midwest? I would have liked it better if the SEC teams were all in separate areas of the bracket.

My guess is they figured we'd both be out of the tournament by this time anyway.

With only having 3 teams from the SEC in the tourney it would make more sense to spread them out. It would be awesome to see all 3 SEC teams in the final 4 and 1 or 2 of them playing for NC. Of course, with UT winning the NC in the end though.:)
