No joke. I don't know what team the rest of you guys watched tonight, but this Lady Vol team may be the worst shooting team that I've ever seen advance to the National Championship game.

The one that hit 8 of 11 three point shots in the previous game and shot over 50%? One game doesn't mean they can or can't shoot.

I don't know if it was nerves, tiredness, or what, but we couldn't shoot tonight. Maybe we'll be calmer Tuesday and be able to capitalize on mismatches, like we did against Ole Miss.

Don't pay any attention to 423. All his posts are aweless when it comes to our program. The term "nega-VOL,'' really hits hard when you glance over his post history.

Have you never watched them play. They are a great shooting team. No team is perfect every game.

To much emotion in a game like this. Nerves to tight to shoot high %.

Wow. Just an ugly, ugly...ugly, ugly game. And I'm not just referring to Sylvia Hatchell...

Down 12 points with less than 10 minutes to play, I thought our girls were going to come up short again...but they dominated the final 8 minutes of the game, and seem like a team that will not be denied.

They'll have their hands full with Rutgers, but this is a determined and focused Lady Vols team. The "drought" will end on Tuesday night.

I agree with all the previous comments. The Lady Vols will have to play a controlled game and Candace will need lots of help from the rest of the team. If the Lady Vols can score 60 on Rutgers we have a shot.

ugly. it was 0-0 until about the 17 minute mark.......

neither team shot very well....i think thru the first 10 minutes, TN was 1-12 from the feild and UNC was 1-15........just an ugly game to watch (which btw, didn't do much to thwart LG's theory that women's bball is unwatchable...lol.).

i have to admit, i said forget it and went to bed about the 12 minute mark in the 2nd......it was hard to watch.

but glad they pulled it out......congrats and go get #7.:thumbsup:

I wouldn't mind hijacking Gus Johnson from CBS to call our game tonight. Mike Patrick annoys the hell out of me with his poor analysis and drawn out play by play style. Gus is the solution Tuesday night.

I'm happy for our lady vols, I will be watching on Tuesday night I sure hope they win, last time we were in a final it killed me to see them go down to uconn, you gotta have faith so go Candace and Co.

I'm from KY but I am pretty sure that I bleed orange lol. I don't think there is a team out there that can hold down Candace Parker and the Lady Vols. Everytime you think they're down, they come back and keep on winning. I have no doubt that this is the year they will bring the National Championship back to Knoxville. And I have to say, Pat Summit is the coach to end all coaches in my opinion. I think the tournament SHOULD be re-named the Pat Summit Invitational like they suggested on ESPN lol.

Congrats to the Lady Vols. I am thrilled to death with the Lady Vols win over North Carolina. They played a fantastic last 8 minutes. Hope they can bring the National Championship trophy back home to Knoxville tomorrow night. Let me re-phrase that, they will bring the trophy home tomorrow night. I tell you one thing though, Rutgers really showed their stuff last night against LSU. But I think the Lady Vols will take them out. :dance2:
