WOW what a job he did and I look forward to more games like this from him. Play like that will get us farther along than the coaches will.

He did do an excellent job Saturday. I just really hope it wasn't a one game fluke, and he continues to do it the rest of the year.

Ayers played a terrific game. I think most of us have been expecting him to be an impact player and it seems to be happening

ayers has been getting better and better. he has done a very good job against the run and gets pressure on the qb. no sacks but at least disrupts the offense. would like him to stop dipping to the inside all the time and giving up the edge. watch georgias 15 toss sweeps and youll see it. i really think he has been motivated by walker and martin, who i look forward to seeing play on opposite ends next year. if ayers can display the ability to get to the quaterback and get some sacks, he has the nfl waiting for him

Ayres numbers were very impressive. He had a career-best nine tackles. That includes 3.5 tackles for a loss. The Georgia game also marked his first career interception.

For the season, Ayres is credited with 15 tackles and 8 assisted tackles for a total of 23. He is on track to finish with 14 tackles for a loss which would tie the Tennessee single season record.
