I realize that he is not a hot name nor does he have HC experience but his running backs were the only bright spot on the team. He is a great recruiter, great position coach, players love him. Give him a short contract and give home the opportunity to right the ship. Surrround himself with quality staff and it could work. Go ahead and flame me, just not seeing to many viable options left.

There are many good, no... great options out there... that is if Currie were serious about getting us a good or great coach. Problem is, he is trying to pay only $3.5 million or so on a head coach! UCLA paid Kelly $5 million annually. Florida is paying Mullen $6 million annually. That is the problem - Currie is not even trying to get us a decent coach... he is shoping at CoachMart's clearance rack.
