I remember Grant Williams hitting a million free throws against Vandy I think. 2019ish? Scored over 40 points. I like this team a lot man. Glad it’s not just bomb threes like last two years with Lanier and Dalton.

Abram started it 1h. Then Boswell and most everyone else just gave Houston some Houston 2h. Nothing remotely easy. Boswell pog I agree. Gillespie awful close behind.

Jalen Carey was one tough son of a gun out there. He gave us vital minutes in key minutes of the game. He resembled the toughness we needed to have to come back and assert a lead. I'd be interested to see what his plus/minus was.

I feel much better about the guards now. JG, BB start, AA comes off the bench and provides some offensive spark. Use Burg in spots.

Man, this game was so fun to watch. The whole team was pretty great, Boswell was a star, Abram looked really good and I loved the way we used Carey as the team muscle. Just a solid all around performance. That looked like a championship team tonight.

I was concerned early as Houston pulled away to double digit lead. Afraid our early season soft schedule had us a little disillusioned. Man was I wrong how tough this team is. Even with an unimpressive offensive night we out scored the bad guys. Boswell took away their threes that killed us in first half. We were more physical when it counted. Great team effort. Lots of heart and hunger. Go get Kansas tomorrow and this will be the best third place finish ever.

Agreed. He made me a believer that he belonged on the court with the big boys. His defense is graduating to Mashack junior year level

Boswell converted me in the Rutgers game. He was fantastic in it too. Played like a pure dog out there. As Kelvin Sampson said, he's a winner!

No not to throw shade on the subject, but Boswell as good as he wants at his hands absolutely full with that freshman number four. That kid made some shots that were absolutely unbelievable and Boswell, and Gillespie too, draped all over him. If we don't close out all of our free throws, then that kid brings them back after just taking over the game. Unreal actually.
