Going to be a little cool today but it was for UF game last year as well. Hopefully the rain is minimal. Look forward to seeing the checkers!

If storms are anywhere close, get ready for a long night. "Lightening delay" are my two least favorite words now. :(

Latest AFD from KMRX

Beautiful display of upper level difluent flow this morning on water vapor imagery over our area, with the flow over the northern plateau heading nne, while the flow over nc is to the east. The difulence is inducing some lift over our area, especially the northern half, as can be seen by cooling cloud tops on ir imagery. Precip is slowly building as well, but has been mostly convective showers so far. For today, the highest pops will be in the morning while this lift is over the area. This lift wanes in the afternoon, but then the next batch of lift will be heading into the area in the northwestern areas as the upper low diving south from the upper midwest dives into the region. The lift and deeper moisture from this feature will spread across the northern 2/3 of the region tonight and will raise chances for precip again. Expecting low amounts of instability, so precip tonight just showers and not expecting thunder. Will stick close to guidance temps. For fire weather, keeping mixing heights on the low end today, as clouds will be persistent.

I saw the chances of precipitation change within 30 minutes twice this morning and again in 2 minutes just now. They can't predict hourly and have no clue.

We, the patrons of Vol Nation, look to the following Storm Gods for you divine grace and mercy. Watch over those in Neyland and grant them suitable playing grounds to defeat thine enemy - which btw, is dressed in red and looketh like the devil. And if you must find comfort in wreaking havoc between 6pm - 9pm (Eastern God's time) in the city of Knoxville, not Galilee or Gallatin, then please strike down and avenge those that helped create thy loss last yeareth. Amen

Storm gods[edit]
Adad, the Assyrian storm god.
Baʿal, the Canaanite & Phoenician storm, fertility, & war god. King of the gods.
Hadad, the Canaanite & Aramaean storm, fertility, & war god. Identified as Baʿal's true name at Ugarit.
Horus, the Egyptian beneficial storm, sun, moon, war, & hunting god. Personified in the pharaoh.
Indra, a Hindu storm, sky, & war god.
Jupiter, the Roman storm god. King of the gods.
Rán, the Norse storm & sea goddess.
Set, the Egyptian harmful storm god, lord of the desert, evil, & chaos.
Tāwhirimātea, the Maori storm god.
Teshub, the Hurrian storm god.
Theispas or Teisheba, the Urartian storm and war god.
Tlaloc, the Aztec storm & earthquake god.
Zeus, the Greek storm & sky god. King of the gods.

Zeus' son plays for OU now after UT mistreated him. Expect a lighting strike(r) in Dobbs direction all night.

Expect a heavy dose of him him looking like a lost mime tonight

Nice. I'm actually more concerned with him overrunning the play and letting Dobbs get free. He has a habit of doing that. I love Striker's game speed, but he would make even more plays if he'd slow it down just a notch after getting around the tackle.
