Hottest and Coldest UT games you've been to

Seeing a Gamecock fan in this thread reminds me of the funniest heat related incident I've ever seen. A few years ago I went to the SC/UGA game in Columbia. SC fans decided it would be really cool to stagea "blackout" and everybody from players to fans showed up in all black. The problem was that it was early September and the kickoff temp was a sunny 90 degrees. By the 3rd quarter even the band was suffering from heat exhaustion and cramps.

 I guess this speaks to why the Gamecock fans have been filling up that stadium for years, even though there hasn't been too much to cheer for. What can ya say....

Hottest: Fresno State, 2003. I think the sun's corona actually skimmed the press box at Neyland

Coldest: Kentucky, 1995, at Commonwealth. It snowed before and after the game. The weather is usually crappy for that game. The 2004 game at Neyland was similarly miserable.

Coldest: I don't know what game it was, but I was real young between the ages of 6-8 and literally thought I was going to freeze to death

Hottest: I don't remember

Don't know about the hottest but the coldest was definitely the Cotton Bowl vs K-State. We froze our tails off and were miserable the whole time. Of course the game didn't help matters...

Hottest: Cal 2006
Coldest: LSU 2006

I'm new to going to the games. I'm pretty sure that with our home schedule this year, that there will be plenty of day-games to beat that Cal game.

'03 Fresno St was absolutely horrible. I don't know how I managed to stand through the whole game.
