Booked at the Hilton Downtown on Courtland Street. Found a deal for $92 a night.

I'm not usually a Hilton guy. Anyone have any feedback on this particular hotel?

Never stayed there myself, but all my friends that have come through on business and stayed there have had nothing but good things to say about it.

I'm seeing a lot of hotels charging for parking. Is this for most hotels in ATL?

My in-laws have stayed there before. It's older but they've kept it up well. I believe it has been renovated recently also. Has a rooftop restaurant called Nikolai's Roof(can't give a recommendation on that since it averages around 120 bucks for a couple to eat there.)

Was planning to stay in Buckhead...any recommendations on nice hotels convenient to both nightlife and a Marta station?

Also, we may consider shifting to Midtown. How about the same question for that area of town? I will look at the W.

As for midtown hotels there is the W. Four seasons. Sheraton . Residence inn. These will be near the arts center Marta station(one stop past midtown but the area is still midtown.

Near the buckhead Marta station is an intercontinental, embassy suites, and grand hyatt(although radio stations use this one a lot for NYE parties so it may book up or be more expensive. There is also a hotel nikko. Jw Marriott. there are others but can't think of the names off the top of my head. What kind of nightlife are you looking for? There are. Few places left in b'head. Midtown hs more nightlife though. There are more but these are just the ones coming to mind.

What about Galleria? Is the MARTA a bus or train?

Marta is both train and bus. But doesn't serve galleria. It is in Cobb county but they have their own mass transit. CCT (bus only)will take you to the arts center station and get on marta there. personally is stay in perimeter instead of galleria just so you can ride Marta all the way.

Thanks! What about Airport hotels? Easy access to Marta? I got a pretty good deal at the Embassy Suites there.

very easy. The bus will pick you up and take you to the college park station more likely. Or the hotel shuttles will sometimes take you there. Stay here if you want 0 nightlife. Or cheaper hotels.
