Hotel in Columbus MS canceled my reservations.

It has been years ago but we usually stayed in Tupelo...hour and half drive to Starkville from there.

Tell 'em you'll be there at check in time. If they don't have a room someone is getting their AZZ whipped.

I got burned by Expedia for a non Vols related travel scenario and I'll never use them again. I even had their trip cancelation coverage.

Not really much on AirBnB. Some motel rooms in Columbus... Motel 6 with zero reviews...and a 1BR house in Noxapater, MS, about 40 miles away. The reviews are pretty good, and the cost is reasonable $152 for one night.

I go to those type sites to get an idea of the price or flight number I want then go to the proper site to book. Why would you book a room from someone who doesn’t have rooms or a flight from someone with no airplanes?

Just FYI. If you come across the Columbus Inn while searching for a new place, just sleep in your car. It's cleaner and safer.

That's what happened to me the last couple of times trying to go to gumpville. Made reservations at Marriott months in advance near Bham and still got shafted.

Paid reservations canceled and having problems getting resolved and finding a place to stay

Rent a U-Haul and throw your air mattress down on it. Much more room and less expensive than other rental options. You’ll be fine. Go Vols!
