Horrible experience at bowl

Bowl game at a stadium for a terrible NFL team with garbage attendance. Its not surprising the concessions were slow. RJS was unprepared but I wasn't..Jack Daniels for quarters!

We had a great time - was drinking Coke Zero so guess I did not notice. Only small complaint was the jumbotron - we were in the corner of the end zone (127) and it seemed a little fuzzy on the other end - but I may just be getting old.

That will be fixed soon.

There will be more than $29 million used for phase one upgrades to the stadium's Jumbotron and luxury sky boxes. A new sound system and additional concession stands also will be part ofthe first round of improvements.

The addition of four new video boards are slated to be in place by kickoff for the 2016 season. RJS will be the site of next season's College Football Championship game, slated for January 2017.

When half of the upper deck concession stands are shuttered you know it is not going to end well. We missed some pre game and got a few things with a 25 minute wait. Avoided them like the plague for the remainder of the game.

This was not an issue for the Taxslayer people last year. Concessions at Everbank were much better than RJS

If this is how bowl games are ran this is my last. I will stay home and save my money. Even the officers were upset with the concession stands. How do you run out of water and carbonation for drinks? At least all of the security personnel were friendly.

Our area ran out of water at end of 1st quarter. Hour waits in line. Not good. There also left many stands closed. Pinching pennies?

Bucs averaged 61,000+ fans this year.

There were nowhere near 61,000 fans at the Outback Bowl.

Jeez where did you guys sit? My wife left to go get a lemonade and water with 17 seconds left in 3rd and was back in time for the start of the 4th.

I had a great time even though I live 30 min away in Clearwater. Had drinks before the game and all during the game with my girl and no problems even though $10 a beer was kind of steep! I was figuring $6.50-$7.50 a beer but $10 is ridiculous. Not even at the Miami Heat, Dolphins or Bucs games do you pay $10 a beer. Maybe because it was Heineken for me and Corona for my girl. Anyway, had a great time and Go Vols!!

Sorry to hear about the crappy planning for the game at RJ. They certainly don't have much of an excuse, given that our experience at the TaxSlayer last year was great -- food and drinks a plenty with multiple quality options.

We drank so much whiskey in the parking lot, then switched to beer once inside. My mom shotgunned 2 right before the 4th qtr so she had her drink on pretty good! Nice family in front of us made the mistake of setting their cokes and food where we could get them, so Mama threatened to kick the wifes arse and they gave up their drinks, snacks and seats with 12 mins to go.. My brother kinda puked on their purple hat, Hilarious!, and we had a ball... Love drinking!!

If I remember correctly last year at the Taxslayer bowl they sold out of whiskey and hot dogs. Freak obvious had more than his fair share of his favorite food while attending the game.

That seems a little inflated. This is home to the Bucs. Overheard a conversation between two locals in front of me and they were saying they wished they had that many people at their home games there. Probably hadn't had that many there since Gruden was back on the sidelines.....
