Horrible Coaching

This was a game Dooley was supposed to win. And he lost. He may have lost me as a spporter of his. I need time to cool off

I dont care how long you cool off theres no exuse to lose to this Kentucky team with a 4th string WR at QB!!!! Plus you had Tyler Bray back. Oh wait he was watching Rajon Neal run the offense

Well after todays game and after hearing all the Wilcox to.... rumors I think we need to fire Dooley and promote Wilcox to HC, then we can get a new DC and maybe Wilcox would let Chaney run his offense, not try to force it into a run first, pass happy offense that has NO short, quick, blitz busting passes. People can blam Chaney for the offensive play calling all they want but anyone who has saw his play calling before Dooley and his run first crap knows Chaneys playbook is a MUCH BETTER playbook when hes aloud to control it and not forced to do things hes not comfortable with by an idiot, proven loser head coach.

Tauren Poole: "The whole game, no one wanted to be out there ... people were out of it."

When Poole runs for 100+ and scores a couple of times, I can deal with him talking crap. When you run for 32 yards and 0 touchdowns, you need to look in the mirror about what you could have done to change the outcome of the game. This is a serious issue when you have a senior pointing fingers. I know he is frustrated but it is the upperclassmen's job to get the younger guys movitated and prepared for games (along with the coaching staff). "Attitude Reflects Leadership..."

Mine:
Offense
Quarterback: B, probably best in SEC
Backs: D, Poole doesn't even try
Recievers: C, Da'Rick A+ the rest are C to D players
Offensive Line: D, they stink..can't run block or pick up blitzes

Defense
D-Line: A, one bright spot
Linebackers: C-, can't defend the edge
D Backs: C-, bad coverage, bad tackling

Special Teams
Punt Team: F
Field Goal Team: F
Kick Return: D, some hope with Devrin but he has to catch the ball
Kickoff: B

It was bad I was there. Why did they try the wildcat on 1st and goal? Last week Neal fumbles the snap against Vanderbilt why would you risk that again in a close game. Well CDD finally has his signature loss. Somewhere along this season CDD has lost this team. Don't know why or how. Some players say there are too many selfish players on this team. That could be D. Rodgers, Bray I'm not sure. But the only person we can hold accountable for this season is CDD. CDD will get next season to turn things around or be fired I think. 6-6 won't cut it more like 8-4. Perhaps the entire offensive staff should be replaced. Not that the defense is playing well but there has been some bright spots. After the Cincinnati game I thought we could be a good team. Sure some injuries to Bray and Hunter did obviously hurt the team but this team didn't play with passion. I'm still all VOL just a new low. And I'm mainstream with questioning whether CDD can lead this team to an SEC title. I can understand the team playing worse with key starters out just can't excuse lackluster play and poor execution.

I'm kind of warming up to the idea of maybe promoting Wilcox to HC, too. This way, he'll get his own DB coach and may bring in Boise State's OC.

Never Dools fault.

Why you cant blame DD he is only the H/C it must be the players fault. Or no wait a minute it must be the fans fault. Or no wait a minute it must be the band yeh the band that whos to blame but it is not the H/C he cannot be at fault just ask is mommy she will tell you its not his fault.

whatevs. We weren't having depth issues when we blew cinci out of the water. the absence of justin hunter doesn't give you a pass for losing to kentucky...who isn't even playing a true qb. joker philips out coached dooley. sad. so so so sad. dooley isn't cut out for the sec. not yet at least... we will not progress with him steering the ship.

...his only sec win was an overtime, questionable call against VANDERBILT

I believe that Dooley's biggest fault is his failure to lead this team. They weren't motivated to win this game. Why is that? Dooley needs to examine his leadership techniques. Maybe his "Darwinism" strategy is good for identifying individual talent, but bad for team morale. His constant criticism of the players when talking to the media also breeds bad attitudes. Finally, he has publicly stated many times that the team is bad, so the players started to believe it. Pretty obvious lack of leadership skills on his part. He needs to be more positive. By example, he can teach the players to be good leaders and team players. His negativity is teaching them to be negative.
