What some people still don't realize is Chaney has been here 3 years!!!!!!!!!!

I'll repeat that: 3 years!!!!!

Obviously can't get it done, should have let him go to Chicago or wherever he was headed back a couple years ago.

Regarding 'horrible coaching', if we grade this staff on the improvement shown on the field from game to game throughout the season, understanding that it's up to players to make plays, then I think the result is er, well it's ugh, pretty bad.

Exactly. This was sorry. Thay ran the whole damn game. Not hard to put in your goal line defense and drop a few people back...I am embarrassed to be a VOL right now. We looked sorry!

Bray clearly isn't 100%, we have no dependable run game but special teams lost this one. 35 yard punts??? our kicker can't even get the ball up?? Palardy and Darr suck. period. u guys that call for coaches to be fired, who the hell works with our kickers??

I think Wilcox did great after the first drive. He adjusted and only gave up 7 points after all the gimmicks wore off. The fault here lies with Chaney. That stubborn fool just continues to throw even when the running game is working good enough. Last week Poole was decent and was again this week. Run so Bray doesn't have to throw 30+ times a game with a broken hand. Dooley is a good coach and should keep Wilcox, but Chaney has got to go. Wildcat when you are inside the 10? Are you kidding?

Bray was horrible today!! And the line play......and the coaching.....and both our kickers gotta go.....they suck!!

These are his players he recruited. He has another year. But, if coaches are not held accountable for the team's results, then they would NEVER be fired. Heck, the buck stops with the head coach. A good coach knows this. I am beginning to wonder if Dooley does.

In this chess match of play calling as far as on the offensive side of the ball we lost horribly today. Too predictable in our play calls, Kentucky ran 2nd down blitzes the entire game with soft coverage in the back. Where were the crossing routes? Pitch and Catch and give the boys an opportunity to make a play underneath which would make for more manageable 3rd down situations. Also one of Bray's picks could have been avoided on the 3rd & 18 in the 3rd quarter when we decided to throw the ball with a QB who has been deemed by his HC as rusty coming back from the injury. And the Wildcat from the Kentucky 5 yard line when we tried running the same play last week against Vandy with similar results. Bad play calling all game by Chaney IMO

i back Dooley, I still think we're heading in the right direction. but a head coach has too much on his plate to be the kicking/punting coach. are you sure about that, i've heard rumors that was the case. Palardy and Darr didn't get college interest if they weren't better than this, plain and simple.

Dooley may be safe this year. Although you can guarantee that the "money" on the hill is already having talks with Hart on the coaching situation. I would look for major changes coming this offseason. I hope we get a new offensive staff. Chaney is built for a pass happy conference. We will never compete with the big boys with him at the helm as OC. I mean how in the world do you let a Randy Sanders offense look better?

This was a game Dooley was supposed to win. And he lost. He may have lost me as a spporter of his. I need time to cool off

Devrin Young let the ball hit the ground and roll 25 yards in the 2nd half.You cant do that in a close game.George Cafego is mad as hell somewhere tonight. Even Devrin Young has gotten worse.This coaching staff is awful.
