recruits that's not on a professional team right now... (Per Gary Parrish)

Either he was overrated or made a bad decision to play at Tennessee.... which do you think it is?

That must not be from Rivals' list, because there are 4 or 5 guys who are still at their school.

I think it's actually the top 10, but, in any event, this is all on Scotty. He has all the potential in the world and access to top notch training facilities if he has the fire within him. Either he'll find it or end up playing in Italy for the next 10 years.

Clearly the problem.

Once Forbes gets his internet monitor in place, Hopson will become a Ruben Patterson clone on the defensive end. It's the criticism here that makes him timid. Once that's eliminated, it's on.

Hopson was overrated coming out of high school. He has trouble dribbling in traffic and his jumper as a Freshman had too much arch on it.

It's neither.

He wasn't ready for the NBA coming out of high school. That doesn't make him "overrated," and it doesn't mean Tennessee somehow failed him.

Jeebus.

Correct. Just because a kid isn't a one and done doesn't make him a failure. I would think Tennessee fans would be happy to have him back this year and would hope he would be back next year as well.

I'd much rather see him go 20 and 5 this year and head to the draft than be around and have two more schizo seasons.

How many of these guys were second round draft picks, which meant they probably should have stayed in school another year and tried to get more money and become a first round draft pick? Scotty probably could have been a second or third round draft pick last year if he went out, which this statistic or post fails to mention. Scotty is positioning himself for a huge year and to be picked in the first round. I have a lot of faith in Scotty, if you have watched him play he can take over games with his athleticism. I think he will have a year similiar to Meachem's final two seasons on the football field at Tennessee. People with his type of athleticism and skill set will make it to the next level. This guy is going to have incredible hunger to win big games this year, since that missed free throw cost us a shot at the final four. He will be THE LEADER of this team and I think he will do a great job.

Nevermind. I don't want an opinion from a guy/girl who uses the word romantic on a men's basketball forum.
