Hopson leaning towards returning

Pitiful was an overstatement but I don't want him shooting in the clutch (not generally a worry as he'll pass it to a teammate with 3 seconds on the shot clock) and, no, he is not quick - quick first step but the ball usually doesn't accompany him if it requires a dribble - besides that first step he is of average quickness at best, a deficiency compounded by his laziness.

Oh, so his first step is quick, but his subsequent steps are slow. Thanks. That clears things up. No really it does. It makes perfect sense and in no way could it ever be characterized as completely and unequivocally retarded on every conceivable level.

In no way am I inclined to conclude that I am appreciably dumber for having read your post. I will publicly challenge anyone on this board who asserts that maybe just maybe you've gone full ruhtard. And I'm certainly not giving any sort of "strong consideration" to adding you to my ignore list.

And, no, I do not believe that you are a complete and utter failure in both posting and in life. Have a great day.

Is everybody forgetting that he is our leading scorer?

That's true but this thread isn't about him scoring. It's about whether he's turning pro or not. He's not ready for the NBA. That has showed all through this season.

In my opinion, Scotty will possibly never make the pros. He's destined for the EUR Basketball League no matter when his college days are over. He has a decent game but not pro potential. Can he eventually get there?

Maybe, but not unless he gets better with his attitude on the court and dribbling the ball. He's a solid scorer and a decent shooter. He lacks on the defensive side of the ball. For his athletic ability, he should be able to stop opposing players at his position. He doesn't! I think all this adds up to a pro career but not in the NBA.
