In fairness, more than one poster on this board has reacted in much the same way when a desired football recruit signs elsewhere.If he went to Kentucky they would be in love with him, and when he doesn't they hate him, thats how typical Kentucky fans are. Being a unbiased upcoming player I would choose Tennessee too. Plenty of playing time, up-tempo offense, high RPI and SOS, will get plenty of media time and games on Prime-time Television. Kentucky is in the dumps right now and MSU is nothing too special.

if Tyler stays, will we have a chance of starting next year in the top 5? do you guys think that signing Hopson will open the door to McDonalds for UT, recruiting wise?
Who's gonna be ranked higher? Assuming sensible defections from the few teams better than we were, we are going to be very highly ranked should Tyler stay around.I think about 7 is more realistic. As said before, there will be too much speculation about the Vols before we step foot on the hardwood.
