Curious how Alabama and Georgia will vote.

They'll vote for it too. Georgia has TONS of talent in state. If a recruit from Georgia goes elsewhere and wants to come back and play at home, they now can penalty free

I hope they dont change it.......you wanna transfer and play go to another conference imo

I will have to disagree. These are kids that are making decisions that may impact their career, and they don't always get it right the first time. On top of that, there are sometimes major changes at these schools that impacts their development. So why hold them back when they change their minds? We allow coaches, administrators, etc to roam around without restrictions, so why do the players not get the same treatment?

There needs to at least be a one time transfer rule. I’m tired of hearing the “they commit to the school” crap too. The guys are teenagers when they are meeting and building relationships with coaches and if the coach can up and leave as soon as they get there a player should be able to change their mind as well. It might negatively effect us sometimes too, but I’d rather have guys who are comfortable and want to be there then someone who wants to go back home, but can’t because he won’t be able to play.

I dont want to waste our coaches time constantly having to re-recuit kids on our team.....Lets say you get a good qb from Georgia and he is gonna be the starter next year but you think he should sit and learn......well UGA could convince him to come back home for example....

A coach being fired or leaving isn't fair to players that have committed to a coach. They should be allowed one unrestricted transfer. However, the implications can be disastrous if a coach leaves and so do half your players.

Can other schools contact a player that is currently on scholarship? I thought that they had to enter the transfer portal before they could be contacted or re-recruited?

After Saban finally retires.... Kirby is officially 1st on the bammer list...

There is no excuse whatsoever for not ruling either for or against eligibility BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS.

Yeah, they say that they are for the kids, but actions speak louder. They could have told the schools in July or August that the rule needed to be reviewed.
