Hopefully Bynum starts at MLB in the bowl game

Why they need a LB like Cherry. Everyone goes on about speed. What good is speed if you are out of position and your first step is in the wrong direction. AJ wasn't the fastest but he was rarely out if position and his instincts for the direction of the play were fantastic.

Bates next season, guessing we will know more on Tuesday on AJs status. Agree with OP though, Bynum is more ready today for our bowl game

AJ was rarely out of position?

Maggit is a DE.

You do know that Maggit tools some snaps yesterday at middle LB and made a big stop up the middle?

When healthy he's very dynamic and versital such that the coaches can plug him in wherever there is the greatest need. Let's all hope his injuries are behind him!

Is it me or has Vereen been quiet lately? I know all the attention has been on Barnett, but I haven't heard much on that side.... guess he is just grinding and taking care of business...

I agree. But am looking forward also to seeing G. Bryant and C. Cherry on the field.

I have been wondering what was up with Bryant myself. He looked like a beast in the middle in HS. Surprised he hasn't made the 2 deep. Cherry will not be a Vol though.

We have another LB that is following in the footsteps of JRM. Converted from safety to LB continuing to add weight and is a beast on special teams this year Cortez Mcdowel has really impressed me.

"Cherry will not be a Vol."

EXPLETIVE!!! Y'all shouldn't tell me news like that before I've even had my coffee.

Forgot about him.....I'd let him and Bates battle for WLB

He's a true freshman. Relax.

I am relaxed! Did I not sound that way! I know he is a True Freshmen, just like the 23 others that played. That's why I was wondering! Now I'm no longer relaxed, due to harassment by the relaxation police. Maybe I should protest and start a march for unconstitutional badgering of a relaxed Vol fan wondering about the progress of a player.

He did, but he plays the majority of his snaps at DE which is where I believe is his best shot at the NFL.
