Hope Arkansas and everybody else enjoys getting their licks in this year. I remember the last time they killed us in Fayetteville, gave us some fuel for the fire the following season to absolutely destroy them with a medicore football in Knoxville.

Tennessee will be back. I know it's very hard to see that right now, but we will be back beginning next season. A lot right now depends on if we can get these JUCO's enrolled in December and how the schedule turns out. Regardless, LSU won't be on it and Arkansas, Florida and Bama will be coming to Knoxville.

Keep telling yourself that, we had a different coach then. We really have no idea if Dooley will ever win.

And we had Houston Nutt as coach. I don't seem to remember you guys feeling bad about scoring something like 63 on us about 10 years ago so...

Not sure what your problem with Arkansas is. The Razorbacks were just the next game on your schedule.

Didn't run up the score. Played back ups almost the entire 4th quarter. The only poor sportsmanship penalty was called on a Vol.

The Hogs did everything they could to NOT run up the score, except tackle themselves.

The poor product Tennessee has put on the field is not the Razorback's fault. Nor is it their problem. This season, but certainly not forever, we're better. Get over it.

You've got Vanderbelt to worry about now.

It's always easier to hand out the bitter pill, than it is to swallow it.

Kind of like Arkansas fans after Alabama and LSU games? Arky is good but those 2 are on a completely different level. We just are aweful right now.

i hope to god we trade mizzou for arkansas. with dooley at the helm against petrino, they could play the game on mars and the margin would be at least four t.d.s.

Alabama was indeed a bitter pill, Jason. But Arkansas hasn't played LSU yet.

I encourage you to do this.

Look at LSU's schedule. Which passing offense, if any, has tested LSU's secondary - for a whole game?

Arkansas will be the dog's pick in that game, but I believe the Razorbacks match up well against them. At least better than any other offense they've seen yet this season.

And Tennesse isn't as awful as you believe. I saw a lot of bright spots Saturday night. You have some great young athletes. Coaching is a different question.

Any team with that kind of offense has a chance to beat anybody including LSU. Arkansas could throw everything into complete choas if they were to beat LSU. I hope they do and there are about 5 1 loss teams setting there , let the cryfest begin.

As far as the Vols go they' were just outclassed badly last night get over it. They had better players, better coaches, just all around a better product. It's hard to stomach right now.

Also quit saying the Vols will be back next year, were turning into Vandy. No one knows what the hell next year will bring, i just hope it's better than this one.

That I would love to see.

You guys have fared pretty well against some pretty good Tigah teams in the Battle of the Boot.

Arkansas has a very good team, their game v LSU should be fun to watch.

If it helps... we've still beaten Arkansas worse than they did to us last night:

The year 2000, 63-20 Vols.

Thanks.

It will be interesting to see if Arkansas can protect Wilson. If they can, he should do fairly well. LSU hasn't been challenged with 3 to 5 receivers in a pattern every down.

I guess it's just a unique offense based on timing. Even running plays are are hidden by 3 reciever formations. LSU hasn't seen that except on film.

Word is, there's another chapter in Petrino's playbook that won't be opened until the week leading up to LSU. I guess we'll see.
