I saw him in 94 I believe, at the Starwood Amphitheatre. He did Turn the page and it was amazing. That was a great show. Sammy Kershaw opened for him and Trisha Yearwood and Leroy Parnell showed up and did a duet of When a woman loves a man. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
I remember the "feud" between Travis Tritt and Billy Ray Cyrus culminating with BRC accepting an award for Achy Breaky Heart by slapping a quarter down on the podium hard and declaring to those who didn't like his song, "Here's a quarter! Call someone who cares!"
