Hooker waived by Lions

Glad his play here was at least able to get him a few million. He's always come across as very intelligent so I'm sure he's been smart with that money.

Imagine some teams might give him another shot, but if not, a few mil to be a backup for a couple years is hard to beat.
Yup if he managed his money then hey he's starting off better than a ton of other people at this age.
Maybe the Lions can sign him back to the practice squad but I don't see other teams making offers

Pretty self explanatory

Hopefully he gets picked up somewhere and gets a shot to resurrect his career.

Judging by the calendar though may be a stretch.
sad to see this. He had a tough start with the injury and it never seemed like he got many opportunities. Idk if he was a good fit with their scheme.

Hooker was never really given a chance. Every time I saw him, the defensive line was blasting his offensive line. Every time he handed off the running back got killed. He was playing with 2nd and 3rd units the whole time. Can't help but think with his work ethic and character, he has a chance to resurface. Would be great to see him get to play with the same unit as Goff. I think Detroit was just a bad fit. Hoping he gets another opportunity.

Raiders wouldn't surprise me.

Oddly enough, I wouldn't mind the Cowboys at least taking a look.

Will Grier is who he is at this point so keeping him around at #3 is kind of a waste.

Put Hooker and Milton together and let them relive the glory days

Jerruh and the HC are all in on the Milton train so I doubt it will happen. Might be interesting to see if the Dallas coach can do anything with Milton.

He has been really bad in practice. That's the reason for his cut, not his preseason play.
