Hood Headline

yea i read those replies and they pretty much said good riddance to you and your wife. nice guys
What the hell. He said that's what he wanted. What are we supposed to do, start crying and beg him to not leave? Let's see you do that for us all so we can be redeemed.

his opinion was stupid? to not support a kid who may or may not have changed since then. i hope to God the kid has changed but i do see where he might be a little weary about the kid
"Weary?" Has Hood put that guy through a workout or something?

It was 6 years ago. I can understand questioning the decision, but refusing to support the University because of one kid on the football team is outrageous. Read the freaking Daily Beacon crime log. Much worse stuff happens at UT(and other major campuses) ever weak.

Dude, that is the most serious post from you, I have witnessed.:p

You're the only one claiming any sort of moral position. And apparently it's one of eternal damnation for witnessing a terrible act at age 13.
Not at all. I just question the judgement of Kiffin in taking this guy on with all the baggage that goes with it.

You do realize it's going to be bad for Hood at away games, right? Did Kiffin review that possibility with him, or did getting him at all costs outweigh that consideration.

Quite stupid. Considering the victim supports the kid I can't see where it is his position to hold such a strong view on not letting this kid on the team. He'll never encounter the kid, thus he has no reason to be wary of him.

Getting him at all costs? Please. Lane just told a top flight QB prospect he didn't think he'd play much at UT. I'm sure he was straight with the guy. If it's too hard for him at away games, he can quit. He signed up for football, not military service.

I'm sure all of that has been weighed . . . and tell everyone over at Tigerdroppings hi and thanks for the link and commentary on this thread. :eek:k:

If Catholic High School (which are the ones who actually gave him the second chance) can handle it, I think UT can.
