Hood Headline

Inaccurate. The same old crowd has been showing gargantuan ignorance since their lard loving hero was deposed.

Off topic a little, but I know you would know. Didn't Fulmer roll over on Nilo Silvan in order to please the idiotic mentality seen by some fans in this thread? Am I remembering that right?

Correct. That is actually one of the main reasons I had utter disdain for the bloated buffoon.

Thought so. So Kiffin is bile for taking a chance on a deserving athlete that had one bad incident 6 years ago and has kept his nose clean since. But Fulmer is the flag bearer of moral behavior for pulling the rug out on a kid that was doing something almost everyone on here has probably done.

Perhaps you need to go back and read it. He was CONVICTED of kidnapping AND rape.
Maybe you also need to read the descriptions from the trial that have links posted throughout this thread alone and tell me he raped his cousin.

Don't forget signing players who raped girls on their recruiting visits.

Wait, why did Nilo get the boot?

While I can't say that I reserve judgement against him for what he did as a kid, only the man up stairs can judge him. Hopefully he has learned what he did was wrong, this is a great opportunity for him.

The victim forgave him. Maybe he can have a good career up in Knoxville.
Excellent thoughts. Concise and to the point.

You might want to define "delinquent" for the bammer!!

he had
committed the adult offenses of kidnapping and aggravated rape.

She testified that the defendant and Sanico began watching television as if nothing had
occurred

Next, [the defendant] failed to protect his cousin when he could have
easily done so, being in his own home, having his father just across
the house from them. [The defendant] has shown virtually no remorse
for the offenses in which his first cousin was the victim.

In this case he has placed the blame on the victim and on
the co-defendant, and has consistently minimized his role in the
commission of the offenses

Glass houses Bammer....glass houses

I may have this all wrong, so Hat may correct me. But I thought he was having sexual relations with a 16-18 year old white girl. The parents found out and did not like this situation. Think they were going to or did file rape charges, though it was consensual sex. It has been a long time since I heard discussions on this, excuse me if I end up being completely wrong.

Sounds like you're just quoting a prosecuting attorney.

I think that's basically right. I don't think there ever was legal action taken though.

Obviously, what he did (or allowed to happen) is atrocious.

But, the notion that someone doing something like this at 13 cannot EVER rehabilitate seems absurdly rigid and unjustified. He seems to accept responsibility, is not minimizing it, and the victim is trying to forgive him.

I don't think its a question of whether he deserves a second chance so much as it is a situation where he has the potential to use a second chance wisely.

Sounds a bit like the Raymund Henderson situation. Fulmer chooses to listen to an obvious piece of garbage instead of the player that chose to play for him.

There is a description of the act committed by Sanico. Since you're so good at getting quotes from text, copy and paste the description of the rape act committed by Hood.

You've described kidnapping and his role as an accessory. Nothing in your argument is an act of rape.

His role in the actual rape was as a bystander who refused to stop the situation. Still very very wrong, but it's what he did.

And I thought his reasoning for not being able to stop it was because he thought the 17 yrold carried a gun and getting his cousin killed wouldnt save her. He was wrong but he was a child, that is why we dont try kids as adults because they dont always understand the consequences of their actions and they aren't able to cognitively put things together. Sburb, I bet at 13 you did things that as an adult you would never do. This kid didnt stop his friend from raping his cousin because he was scared about what this guy might do next if he tried to save her. Forgive dont judge, that's what the Bible teaches.
