No where, any where, has anyone said they were ok with the situation. The fact is, it was 6 years ago. If the kid signed with any other school many of the 'shocked and appalled' would be pointing fingers laughing.

You got me there. I just can't seem to do anything else in life. I so wish I was stuck with a teenage daughter and a hissy fit throwing wife instead of hopping on a plane and going wherever I want whenever I want. You win.

Bystander implies that he had nothing to do with any of it, which from the court doc he did everything the other kid did with exception of use the plunger...that is not a bystander. In your rationale, the group of people at the house when Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom here raped/killed in '07 were bystanders as well.

I am rarely wrong, but like to admit mistakes. I always believed OrangeSquare would be the single stupidest person to ever post on this board. That was obviously an erroneous prediction.

I think it's fairly apparent that he was an accomplice in kidnapping and did nothing to prevent or stop the rape. He stood by and watched...hence bystander. It doesn't absolve him of any guilt or responsibility, but it's the fact.

And no, 'in my rationale', the two cases are not the same. Brutally raping, torturing, and killing two people is nothing like what happened in the Hood case.

Again, Logical Fallacy.

While I can't say that I reserve judgement against him for what he did as a kid, only the man up stairs can judge him. Hopefully he has learned what he did was wrong, this is a great opportunity for him.

The victim forgave him. Maybe he can have a good career up in Knoxville.

He was on the HHH show this morning defending Hood to the maximum extent he could. He said he'd place his professional reputation on the line for the kid.
