CBJ can recruit like a mutherf**er but if he doesn't start winning these games, this fan base will turn on him so fast his head will spin! Recruiting is one story, losing like we lost today is a different one. The honeymoon officially ended today in Knoxville. This fan base is going to start not caring what your particular verbiage is to describe how hard these kids work and fight. They aren't going to care how young this team is. They aren't going to care how well you speak in the pre and post game conferences. Unfortunately, after this loss today I think he is going to start feeling the pressure of what it takes to coach in Knoxville. This isn't the Big East. This loss and this season is not going to put him on the hot seat whatsoever, but for most, the book of matches just got pulled out of the drawer.

Weve been losing so long we forgot how to win a game that matters! I just hope this losing dont rub off on the young guys. The older guys are comfortable with losing.

which is why that part of the fanbase had to live through dooley and kiffin years. reacting on emotion and being spoiled brats leading to knee jerk decisions.

Jones needs to apologize to everyone for a piss poor performance by the OL and by the OC. No business losing that game.

Butch Jones = Ron Zook. A recruiter pretending to be a coach.

Oh well, at least the roster should be in good shape for the next guy. Maybe we'll finally get it right next time.

As well it should be. Inexcusable lose. Really no other way to phrase it.

Chance after chance after chance.

100% agree. If loosing isn't tolerated like Butch says then it's time to hold himself and his staff to that standard.

It is definitely over, wrong or right. But honestly, don't know why anybody would expect Jones to beat Florida. Majors couldn't do it, Fulmer couldn't do it, Kiffin didn't, Dooley sure as hell didn't. He's just being your normal, run of the mill Tennessee head coach. He'll lose again to Florida next year in Gainesville.....book it b

Post of the season so far!!! All that matters is winning. Recruiting don't mean jack s---, if it doesn't translate into wins.

So far in two seasons, Butch has not shown us he can coach a team to overachieve, or exceed expectations. That's a problem.

We did have chances, this is what frustrates me, not one chance but Several.. it is inexcusable actually. However.. do heads roll... not Butch at this point, but something has to move.... Must be patient with Butch, I think he is doing a good job, but you have to have a Team TO WIN.. LETS MAKE SURE HE HAS HIS TEAM IN ORDER

What standard?
Cleaning up a total disfunction junction dumpster fire left by the worst AD and worst head coach in the history of the SEC.
Butch gets a pass this year, and we all knew this was a rebuilding year.
