I want steady thru this NCAA BS and a great offensive team that outscores the mid to lower SEC teams and beats them at a 90% rate. Florida, UGA and Bama will be beaten eventually if we are averaging those 30-40 pt games. And I say this with hopes he can, and I will support the hire until proven otherwise. But objectively speaking, do you look at CJH and think “yeah we will be competing for an SEC-Championship in the next 3-4 years!”
I’m not sure I can say that.
If we were truly serious about competing, regardless of possible NCAA infractions, we would have broken the bank for a big time coach and not let them say no. Jury is out for sure.
Reality is, UT had gone through 4 inept coaches. Reality is, UT needs to nut up and hire coach that brings UT into the championship conversation. That’s reality. You need to face reality too. We are going to have sanctions plus we need to give it a few years then ask the question if we can win the SEC or a natty.
We are not a program that can attract a championship type coach right now. If you don’t believe me stay tuned to the presser coming up around noonReality is, UT had gone through 4 inept coaches. Your setting yourself up for disappointment, let's start with beating who we should and having some 8-9 win seasonsAnd I say this with hopes he can, and I will support the hire until proven otherwise.
