Volnation is having a Meltdown right now. I think the whole first page of the forums is about CLK poor play calls/ Bench Crompdaddy/ Bring back CF/ We are going to lose all our games threads/ Start Lamison or Nick. Get over it please:good!:

Honestly its making me sick just reading all this crap everyone post on this forum. Its one lost everyone be realistic this is a rebuilding year not the year we are going to win a BCS title.

We are a 6-6 7-5 team this year so buckle up because if volnation acts like this every time we lose its going to be a very long ride on these forums this year.:popcorn:

Well, as for the play calling, what was Kiffin suppose to call. Hell, we can't pass without giving the ball to the other team. So the safiest thing to do is run it up the middle. And truthfully we moved the ball, just not when it counted. I could've seen some type of play action pass to the fullback out of the backfield play at the goal line, however once again CLK was probably thinking INT and we had ran most of those 14 or 15 plays previous.

The only bad call was keeping Crompton in all game. I bet there was someone in section Q who could have played better.

the plain and simple fact is: We are just not that good, YET. We will be, in time. We are making strides, but obviously have a long way to go. I, like most, have been moping around here all weekend, didn't want to face my bammer friends at church, and never saw this one coming; but we simply aren't that good yet. Everyone take a deep breath, re-evaluate what you think is realistic for this team to achieve and enjoy seeing them continue to get better. We still have a great staff and Kiffin will sign his guys. Stop jumping off the boat b/c we got a little rain in the bottom. We aint sinkin'. LOL

Great post. Its going to take a little time to fix this team. I have full faith in this staff, they just dont have alot to work with right now. This program did not go bad over night and its not going to be fixed over night. We will get there.:good!:

He's right, some of the threads and posts I have read the last day or 2 are depressing. For the first time in 3 years I have thought about not even coming on Volnation for the rest of the season. YOU GUYS KNEW we are still trying to get this program back to what we all know. We beat WKU and MANY people on here were saying we were on our way to glory, then when we lose WE SUCK. I am A TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER until the GOOD LORD takes me, and even then I will ask him if on Saturdays I can watch the game in my Orange Jersey. FostersMOM made a very good statement, all this pain will be WORTH IT. Its GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER. :rock:

I totally disagree, yea Crompton had a tough game but he wasn't getting the time he should have. Clk's been telling everybody since the spring game that our pass blocking isn't anywhere close to where it should be and we were exposed yesterday. I'd bet the house that Jones ran the wrong route on the last play of the game. He was running a go route when we only needed 10 yards for a 1st. Crompton threw the ball where Jones was suppose to be but he never broke off of his route. Jones and Moore both have missed the last month and it showed. The interception after the half could have been avoided as well if Stocker would have come back for it and helped his QB out.
The only part of the game that I disagree with is not getting Poole any reps. Especially when we had the ball on the 2 yard line. Hardesty was wore out. Put some fresh legs in there and let him bust him up the middle.
Like everybody else, I expected to win this game too but we didn't. It's time to suck it up and go with what we got. It's a long season. Were going to be a lot better, It's just going to take time.
