I will preface this by saying that I do not have any inside sources. I must be the only person on VN without inside sources. I only know a few people involved in the AD.Which decisions are you referring to specifically?

1. Benching Simms without a better option(Bray only played the cream puffs that year and should not be used as a good example).
2. Burning Worley's redshirt while down by 4 TD's just to hand off 5 times against Alabama.
3. Something is going on with the assistants. Either he is really hard to work for or they are quitting because they see a directional problem with this program. UT is losing an inordinate amount of assistants during the off season.
4. Palardy, Brodus, Palardy, Brodus...
5. IF THE RUMORS ARE TRUE about Darick Rogers and the things he did in the weight room, Dooley clearly wanted to keep Rogers around more than caring about the team as a whole.
This is all I got for now without putting very much thought into it.
Each of those examples are my opinion of making emotions based decisions. You know that's what I'm talking about. You're just trying to be cute and smart allecky (sp?).
Our back seven is awful, we have no pass rusher, we have no quality offensive linemen outside the first five players, no slot receivers worth anything, and only two SEC backs that should see any playing time.
He's not done a good job recruiting.
What have our rivals and teams we compete in the SEC with averaged? Like it or not that is what matters. To sum it up, Dooley's recruiting has not been good enough. You're right, he's a terrible recruiter for this up coming October signing day, let's not worry about the next 4 months.
10 years before he got here, UT average finish in recruiting was14th
His 3 recruiting classes average 13th
