Not being an arse...but how come Bama & the likes keep getting top recruits when their 3 deep at every position...talk about playing time.

Maybe the recent NC's have a little influence. (sarcasm)

In retrospect, we as fans tried to will the players to greatness in the Dooley Era.
We beat ourselves up, trying to make every small difference we could.
In the end we learned a hard lesson... the players have to will themselves to greatness.
This recruiting class maybe a suprise to many people.
It is not a surprise to the recruits.
For the 1st time since CPF, we have recruit/players willing Tennessee to greatness.
This is the best possible outcome we could have hoped for.
These players are all leaders, they will go on to do great things.
They have learned the lesson of vision, willpower, and determination.
I am thankful to have CBJ, he showed these recruits the vision of Fans like Volnation.
He has already coached them up.
They took the vision and through willpower and determination, passed that on to others.
Its going to come down to how fast they learn perseverance.
There will be times next year when we will get knocked down.
I want to see these guys continue to put it all on the line, swallow their pride, get up, and go twice as hard.
It comes down to how bad they want it.
Some of these recruits to other schools like to tout that they are going to shock the world.
If they want to see the world shocked, watch the Vols.
They don't hope they can do it, they don't think they can do it, they Volunteered to do it.

which recruiting site is this??
OSU's class is overrated

Yes, that's what I meant. Thanks for the Clarification. I'm not sure Butch and company can keep this top level recruiting going with such records in the future. Many times we see the 'one hit' wonder and then the slide back.

I understood that to mean that our 5-7 record doesn't exactly jive with the rest of the teams in the top 5, or top 10, of the recruiting rankings.

1. Bama 11-2
2. OSU 12-2
3. Tx A&M 9-4
4. Tenn 5-7
5. FSU 14-0

One of these is not like the others.

Out loud I laughed during most quiet office moment. :lolabove: Now quietly I continue to giggle! :birgits_giggle:
