I think that Neyland at night is going to be the difference in this game. On a neutral site Florida might be have a slight edge but I expect us to win at home. Frank's has played 3 career road game. This was at Kentucky (won by a point), at Mizzou (lost by 29), and at South Carolina (lost by 8). None of these road experiences will compare to Neyland saturday.

Neyland will be the ultimate toad experience no doubt. They haven't seen anything like the fighting bullfrogs of Tennessee!

I just encourage everyone here to not let yourself get "taken out of the game." Announcers love to say a good play has quieted the crowed or taken them out of the game. If Florida jumps to an early lead we need to only get louder. The players need it. Get loud, especially when Florida is on offense and trying to call in a play.

Agreed! Weve seen too many Neyland Stadium crowds go silent when the chips are down. Rev it UP, VOL fans.

Got to keep the crowd involved and loud, otherwise if the crowd is quite it could benefit from.

Hope a victory is not left to us fans. Hope we just have a better team Saturday night than Fla. does.
You can bet your booty if we lose there will be some that will blame the fans. Just like some blame the fans for the state of the program now:) Tennessee fans always do their part. Financially and support wise this fanbase pulls its weight with the best of them.

The problem is that if the team doesnt give the fans something to cheer for, Neyland can be as quiet as a church on Tuesday. The team needs to bring it and the fans will naturally respond.

Even 2 false start penalties can be two drives that they are in the hole. With their offense, and their QB, an extra 5 yards can stop an entire drive.

I've been watching UT football since 1966. We have many, many terrible losses at home. I don't believe home field advantage is a thing in football. Pretty much the best team wins regardless of the venue. Now basketball - the significance of the home court is amazing.

Feleipe Franks actually didn't start the Missouri game. We were hoping he would though. I think Franks only scored a last minute touchdown in relief. It really doesn't matter what stadium it is, Franks is a subpar SEC quarterback

Home field advantage matters in games like this where the teams are somewhat evenly matched. Where it doesn't make a difference is when Alabama and Georgia come to town, for example. Fan noise won't make a slow DB catch Sony Michel, but it can cause confusion in a dysfunctional offense like Florida
