When I saw the thread title, I thought it was about the Orange and White game.

This literally made me cry. I just buried my grandfather. He took me to my first UT game. I went every home game with him for years. Then my brother would go with us, and he and I would alternate if we couldn't get extra tickets.

He loved Tennessee Football. He had been going since Neyland was on the sidelines. I've been going since Battle was on the sidelines.

God almighty, I loved that man, and this video embodied everything both he and I loved about UT football.

Your post is what it's all about. Memories. I never had the chance to go to a UT game with my dad, who as I have stated in other threads was on the "hill" in the 30's. For some reason he never did anything but talk about the team, living in the stadium dorm and the really old Melrose Hall. (don't remember him ever going to a game as I was growing up) I had "other things" besides college on my mind in the late 50's and early 60's and didn't make it to the "hill". Over the years I have had the good fortune to take two of my grandkids to games. I will always remember those as lifetime highlights and hope they do too. Thanks for your post.....

Outstanding video, thanks for sharing. As several others have said...if that doesn't stir something up in ya as a Vols fan, call a doctor because something's off-kilter.
