Actually, before the game is even played, there is no more truth to what you just said than what he said. May or may not be more likely, but not any truer at this point.

We had a load of injuries last week and without 7 turnovers we would have stomped aTm and that's a simple fact.

alaBubba simply CAN be beaten and our backups have played well and gotten loads of knowledge and experience.

Our confidence level is through the roof my friends and our players know they CAN beat alaBummer.

Get Neyland rocking nonstop and our boys will take care of the rest.

This is the year we get a little payback on alaBubba and laMe kiffScum.

We just might see nick saTan cry as he leaves the field.

Brakes with the if we didn't turn it over thing! If Virginia Tech didn't turn it over we would have lost that one. If App. State had a kicker we would have lost that one too....and on and on. We did turn it over. For the most part defenses force turnovers. Part of the game.

Ok. But 7 is more then I've seen in a long time. That falls on us not protecting the football. 2-3 turnovers a game is understandable but 7 cannot be all attributed to the defense - that's just poor ball handling.

VA Tech was in s similar boat but we destroyed them. A&M barely won. There's a bug differance. Also Va Tech is apparently a very good ball club...but not as good as us.

A&M should have destroyed us with 7 turnovers but only managed to win in OT without those turnovers they lose. Period.

No-one has the DB's to lock down all of our WR's with the exception of an NFL team. Also, Arkansas passed for over 400 yards on them and their WR's are less talented than ours as a whole.

He has been very good but all true freshmen QB have their bad day. Just look at Eason he looked like he was ready for pros against us and looked pedestrian against USCe. Every Freshman QB is due a bad day let's just hope Hurts has his Freshmen day at a raucous Neyland.

So often you think you have a good idea of how a game will go but they all seem to have their own narrative. That said You can bet that Kiffin will try to get Hurts off to a confident start by letting him make some short throws early. Also, Bama won't want to take an early sack and get their young QB rattled right out of the gate so again get the ball out quick on some short throws, bubble screens, slants, short outs and curls, etc. I hope Shoop decides to jump these routes. Yes if the Bama receivers go double move and Hurts makes a good throw then it will look like 1st Qtr Florida all over again; but the opportunity to get an early INT and a short field for our O and to take an early lead for once is worth the risk.
