So often you think you have a good idea of how a game will go but they all seem to have their own narrative. That said You can bet that Kiffin will try to get Hurts off to a confident start by letting him make some short throws early. Also, Bama won't want to take an early sack and get their young QB rattled right out of the gate so again get the ball out quick on some short throws, bubble screens, slants, short outs and curls, etc. I hope Shoop decides to jump these routes. Yes if the Bama receivers go double move and Hurts makes a good throw then it will look like 1st Qtr Florida all over again; but the opportunity to get an early INT and a short field for our O and to take an early lead for once is worth the risk.
