Holly Warlick should step down after this season

UCONN would beat the Philadelphia 76's, and it wouldn't be close. UCONN would also beat all of the WNBA teams.

That's just how dominant the HUSKIES are.

Yeah, and they would crush the Jordan led Bulls; the could beat the New England Patriots in a football match; they would win the World Series going away; Rugby world championship? check; world cup? check; that is how dominate they are...who is that knocking on my door. No, no, they are coming to take me away, hahahahohohoheehee...

I say bull ****

UConn will have to beat the Lady Vols this year

it is coming

it will happen

no matter what you nay sayers have to say

I have never said anything negative about Holly before but in my opinion she should be fired after the ETSU game. It made me sick to watch her presser and her state she just sat down she was not going to coach them the 2nd half. That was a pathetic act by her. IMO

for some of you pat summitt! Lol

there's no other program besides be uconn who has sustained success, and there's no coach other there can handle you all as fans, and understand the demands of lady vols basketball, and players.

Holly will be fine, she's in her fourth year, and she's a work in progress, no coach was great right way; not even, geno or muffett or summitt.

Diamond got better tonite, our defense for the most part was solid tonite, our ladies have to get in the gym that's all, with a defender. Please do not go to shoot without a defender, we need to take shots with a defender.

no, she won't. All she knows is what pat taught her and paT only won by starting early in the women's game and had better talent than the rest of the country for years and years. Several years ago, the ohio state coach stated correctly that pat was not a bench coach, but she could recruit. I say give the team to mickie.

appreciate the positive attitude, but let's wait 'til the lady vols play nd before we claim great things in the future.

i really don't know if i could stand to watch it. Any coach who would have her tallest player setting screens ten feet from the basket is nutz. In addition, ut will face zone in every game this year and if holly can't find somebodies to drive to the basket, they won't win half their games.

they will beat stanford. They may lose to oregon state and notre dame, but i think they will beat south carolina and likely all other sec opponents. Of course, the team staying healthy is key. Nared and dunbar will be fine in short order, and deshields is just getting better and better. I fear for jones, though.

you are another dreamer.

Although I've had my reservations, prior to now I've refrained from criticizing the LV coaching staff, especially since I had high hopes for this season particularly with the arrival of DeShields. However, as the season has played out it is becoming harder and harder to maintain hope that Warlick can get it done at UT. Not only is she striking out on the high-ranked recruits we used to get with regularity, she is also laying eggs on the court with what is likely to be, if things don't change, the last crop of elite players we get at UT.

Coach Warlick has served the University with distinction, but it is time for her to be our "Bill Guthridge" and step down so we can hire someone (Kim Mulkey anyone??) who can take the reigns of this once-proud program and get the job done.

The ladies game seems to be more "civilized" in that coaches typically don't get canned like they do on the men's side, so our only hope is that HW sees the writing on the wall and does the right thing. The UT admin definitely won't.

This conclusion isn't just a knee-jerk reaction to the loss today. It's been a long time coming...

....and we are still suffering....

Is Holly someone you would want to give a substantial raise and 5year contract extension to? If not, then time to go in another direction.
