I was thinking it was more than $1 a week. Can you actually surf the web with xbox 360? I know their online communities are better, but I would put Sony's online experience as far as internet capabilities right up there with a PC. I think the processer in my PS3 is faster then whats in my home computer. Its all prefernece for sure.
That's because the upscaling you see in Blu-Ray (and HD DVD) drives is far superior to anything from your run of the mill $80-100 upconvert DVD players. There are only a few of those that will do a similar job. Harman Kardon, Pioneer Elite, Oppo and Denon in particular.my feeling exactly rpvol. my ps3 also plays regular dvds better on my flatscreen than any player i have seen.
If GT4 ever comes out... oh, and the new Metal Gear. At this point in time, those are vaporware.
Also, the point of having a free service vs. XBL... that $1 a week is really breaking the bank. The money I saved getting a 360 vs. a PS3 will pay for what, 4 years of XBL? Besides, the fact that XBL is far superior to Sony Online.
And we all know... GT5, FF XIII/2 and MGS4 are not out yet. But over the dozens of times those games have been released over the last decade, it has been a benchmark for video games every time. It's true that they are vaporware, and it does give the 360 a stronger library at this point, but acting like that set of four games won't be extremely well-made is asinine.
Notice I don't care enough to even have gotten the version number of GT right...I was just making a point about which GAME console is better TODAY. :dance2:
