Holgorsen is classless

I think Holgerson has a good shot to get to the NC game.

But he needs to order his ticket now, before the flights and hotel rooms fill up.

WVU may very well drop their last two games; maybe even 3 out of their last 4. I don't see them running the table. They have a great passing game, but that's it. Once they start running into serious talent (sorry, we're not there yet), they'll get exposed. Probably more than once.

Just like the beating we took, it is what it is. Grier may or may not win the Heisman, but you have to think a 3-loss WVU team would work against him. What I am very confident of is that WVU won't sniff the playoff.

Would be funny, though, if a 7-5 UT team went to a better bowl game than a 9-3 WVU team.

Go Vols.

Who knew we had all those freshmen starting in the defensive backfield? Nobody, because we didn't hear complaints from the coach!

Holgerson calling that play was classless.

But saying a player deserved to get hurt because of it is pretty classless as well.

That's like someone having a jerk for a boss and hoping they get in a car wreck on the way home.

He is a douche. I was in the presser after the game and he came in said "hurry up. I got a plane to catch."

Interesting...…..…….How many of you Classy Fans will be calling the Dogs Off Sat vs. ETSU.
What would a Classy Score be against the Johnson City Sisters of the Poor?

You take a knee it what most coaches know as the victory formation. You think Pruit was really going to call a timeout down 33-14? Its classless to pat meaningless stats, as the winner of the Heisman almost never has the most TDs. He will get enough TDs and the ones against a quality win really matter. Grier already had 400 + yards and 4 tds. Its classless as you dont try to show up first year coaches like that, and when you score to go up 40-14 you dont act like it was the score that won the game. At least run the ball and if you score then it is what it is.
Oh BS! You would be apoplectic if we took a knee against Bama. Play f’ing defense and keep them out of the end zone. Don’t worry about the moron on the other side of the field.

If i were CDH, i would have played that swain show call from volnation mafia (whatever his name is) every time they scored.

Oh and yeah, and i would have scored everytime i could until i was stopped.....kinda like we will all be cheering the vols for doing the next two weeks.....including the op.
Egg-f*****g-xactly.

WV is a solid team... will do well this year.

I partially agree. They are solid, but will go into the rest of season with a false sense of confidence after beating up UT and eventually will get shown their way out of the Top 25...

Dana is classless. Every time out he was cry babying to the refs when his players are the ones taking cheap shots (Tuttle) Our freshmen DB will learn to flop like their DB and get Offensive pass interference.
Grier was on fire, I don't think he threw a pass off more than 24" all day. Leaving your All American's in for the entire game show more of a lack of intelligence than a lack of class. Grier couldn't finish last season, what makes Dana think he can finish this one playing 40 minutes every game. The back ups will look horrible in those last 4 games

So what then is the proper time to remove starters. Had Tennessee removed its starters as a sign that they were conceding the game after failing to convert 4th and goal? Did the Tennessee special teams decide not to attempt a field goal block? Did Tennessee still have 3 timeouts left and somehow communicate that they weren't going to use them? Grier was out of the game and would not have reentered if the Vols had not jumped offsides. The Vols could have taken the kickoff and run 3 rushing plays to finish the game at that point, but they were still playing and trying to block a field goal. Maybe CDH wanted to send a message, maybe he wanted to pad Grier's stats, or maybe he just wanted to make it a 3 score game to make a potential comeback even less likely. Either way, there is no mercy rule in football, and if he wants to play his starters, he can. As to Grier, he got injured last season in the 1st quarter of a game diving for the pylon, and it was a freak injury. It had nothing to do with being overplayed or keeping him in a game too long.

We got bigger problems to worry about than a coach that shows us up a little bit. Hell, if Grier doesn't overthrow his receivers on two or three different occasions it wouldn't have been even as close as it was. WVU taught us a tough lesson on Saturday. Players better make the most of it.

Best way to avoid having the score run up on you is to not let the team you're playing run the score up.

The only thing more predictable than some Vol fans itching to replace their brand new head coach after a double digit beat down is other Vol fans whining about the opposing HC running up the score in said beat down. Quit whining and take your beating like a man. Props to WVU, Grier, and Holgorsen. (That's how you show class, btw.)

Nope! But then, I didn't think Holgorsen was classless last week, either.

You should probably ask SJT. He's the guy who started this thread. :)
I'm not one to take up for sjt, but I understood what he actually meant after he explained.
