How could the refs have missed the holding on this? It was right at the focus of the play?

It has been obvious the whole game.

And not just garden-variety holding, but the jersey-pulled-above-the-scalp kind.

It's not like we aren't getting our share of calls, though.

ROTFLMAO!!!

The Play of the Game was on a botched penalty on an obvious hold by Burton on Brewer.

Classic.

Any attempt to blame this loss on the officiating is pathetic. This game was called well for the most part.

Yeah, I agree. A couple of missed holds, but it didn't make up for the mistakes that we made in the kicking game, 0-line, etc.

Oh, I don't think it changes the outcome, but UF got 14 on two plays with obvious, possibly play-outcome-changing holding calls.

Hell, if anything, the officiating helped keep UT in the game. How many first downs did UT get via penalty?

The one I didn't get was the no-contact call on the kick-off return. I thought it was legal to set the wedge with 3 players as long as one breaks off before contact is made, and that is exactly what happened. Not sayig it was a game changing call, but there were some bad calls on both sides of the ball. Also, the PI against Johnson was a bad call.

Please tell me somebody isn't trying to blame the officials.

It was a question dude....as in "How did the refs miss the hold when it was right there at the point of the play?" Of course they did score on the play though...at a very crucial point in the game. I posted the picture to hopefully avoid any BS

I agree about not blaming the game on the refs. The Gators outplayed the Vols in all areas.

But you are seriously off if you think that game was called well.

Good day.

That's not ref's helping UT. That's Florida db's holding and interfering because they are terrible defenders. Go to a USC board and stop posing here.

Good day.

I think he dislikes the Dooley hire so much that he actively roots for the Vols to lose. He then wants to make sure that the brunt of the loss is fully on the staff.
